Missouri Great Plains Western Horse Barn

Hey, I am a Danish writer and looking for the perfect location for my new novel. It takes place in Missouri in an old barn near a river and a forest. The barn's surroundings happen to be just the perfect location for my story. It is so beautiful there!
I was wondering if you could tell me in which city in Missouri this barn is located so that I can use that city as hometown for my characters.
I would be very grateful.

    Our customers privacy is extremely important to us, so I can't give you the exact city this is near, but a close one is Jefferson City.
