Need help for staircase

I have to build a staircase to join 2 floors and even though I have limited space, I decided not to go for the circular style since I feel it is not very practical - style is like the one in the reference photo). However, the ceiling of the ground floor is high so I would need to add more steps (which is not ideal because it will be eating space from my living). Are there any hacks which can help me not increase the staircase space? Perhaps adding one large step before the staircase starts? Help!

Kommentare (1)Hi yoursra dodo, a lot of children love yellow. Yellow with a red pigment makes a room friendly and cosy. And when it is dark, rainy and grey outside, yellow cheers you up. if you select the colour, hold the sample next to the door, the floor and the blue "sky" above the bed. Kommentare (3)Hallo Frau Schwacke, Sie sollten die Oberfläche des Bodens AUSSCHLIESsLICH ölen. Sie werden aber im Baumarkt nicht fündig werden -zumindest nicht für wirklich gutes Öl! Und am Preis fürs Öl niemals, wirklich niemals sparen! Ich würde Ihnen zum Rubio Monocoat raten, dass ist sehr einfach zu verarbeiten und gibt auch viel Übung und spezielles Werkzeug sehr gute Ergebnisse. Wichtig den Lappen nach dem ölen UNBEDINGT draußen gut ablüften lassen, wenn Sie ihn ölnass zusammenknüllen, ist die Gefahr zur Selbstentzündung sehr hoch! Kommentare (5)Hallo Sabine, das klingt super spannend, ich habe in Köln ein ähnliches, nicht ganz so elaboriertes Konzept, wie das New Yorker Appartment aber doch multifunktional zu nutzen auf nur 53 qm geplant und realisiert. Mich faszinieren intelligente Planungen für Mehrfachnutzungen und als Interior- und Möbeldesigner habe ich bereits einige Projekte mit diesen Kriterien umgesetzt. Kommentare (9)Hey Alice, Yes I know, it's so hard to pick one as there are so many beautiful ones! Yes, I would definitely choose one that's shorter than the sideboard! You could go for something white and simple or something made out of the same wood as the table legs or something that matches the metallic thingy over the desk. I think I would choose a simply white one or a metallic one. Or you could also just put a picture ledge there and then put the artwork on it and maybe a nice candle or a small plant. Depending on the shelf and the size of the artwork, I would put the artwork on it :) Also you shouldn't hang it too high, it shouldn't lose look disconnected from the sideboard. I would say about as high as the grid over the desk but it also depends on the shelf.
