A beautiful groundcover year round, the distinctive, wand-like blooms of Hummingbird sage emerge in the spring. As the name suggests, hummingbirds dig them.

Tulips and pansies provide early spring color to raised bed containers constructed with M-Brace brackets for added interest. In the summer, the owner plants two of the beds with vegetables (all of the sun on the property is in the front yard).

The Daffodils have bloomed in this spring container, but the foliage still adds a nice touch combined with continuing color from trailing Veronica, Violas, Heuchera blooms, and bright lime Selaginella Moss in the center Lush Custom Gardening
Dark Delight New Zealand Flax were left in place from the previous garden, underplanted with Pork and Beans Sedum ground cover, which will develop blushes of red and brown in the summer. A few California poppy seeds blew in during the installation. They're welcome for now, but could overtake other plants in time.
