ORIJIN STONE, LLCThe main design goal of this Northern European country style home was to use traditional, authentic materials that would have been used ages ago. ORIJIN STONE premium stone was selected as one such material, taking the main stage throughout key living areas including the custom hand carved Alder™ Limestone fireplace in the living room, as well as the master bedroom Alder fireplace surround, the Greydon™ Sandstone cobbles used for flooring in the den, porch and dining room as well as the front walk, and for the Greydon Sandstone paving & treads forming the front entrance steps and landing, throughout the garden walkways and patios and surrounding the beautiful pool. This home was designed and built to withstand both trends and time, a true & charming heirloom estate.

ArtichokeThis Queen Anne House, in the heart of the Cotswolds, was added to and altered in the mid 19th and 20th centuries. More recently the current owners undertook a major refurbishment project to rationalise the layout and modernise the house for 21st century living. Artichoke was commissioned to design this new bespoke kitchen as well as the scullery, dressing rooms and bootroom.
Primary materials: Antiqued oak furniture. Carrara marble and stainless steel worktops. Burnished nickel cabinet ironmongery. Bespoke stainless steel sink. Maple wood end grained chopping block. La Cornue range oven with chrome detailing. Hand painted dresser with bronze cabinet fittings.

Stephen GraverOur clients had inherited a dated, dark and cluttered kitchen that was in need of modernisation. With an open mind and a blank canvas, we were able to achieve this Scandinavian inspired masterpiece.
A light cobalt blue features on the island unit and tall doors, whilst the white walls and ceiling give an exceptionally airy feel without being too clinical, in part thanks to the exposed timber lintels and roof trusses.
Having been instructed to renovate the dining area and living room too, we've been able to create a place of rest and relaxation, turning old country clutter into new Scandinavian simplicity.
NW interior designThe client's dresser and existing table and chairs were repainted to suit the kitchen scheme. Paint colours - Farrow & Ball Shaded White. Kitchen cabinets are in Farrow & Ball Bone.
Sklar StudiosWhen yearning for a wee bit of sunshine, this couple ventures over from the East Coast to soak it all up in their La Jolla condo. Trying this city on for size, this project was an experiment in going a bit outside the client's comfort zone, as they wanted something more modern in style than what they are accustomed to while keeping with the neutral and timeless colors they are so fond of.
