It's difficult to imagine that this beautiful light-filled space was once a dark and draughty old barn with a leaking roof! Adjoining a Georgian farmhouse, the barn has been completely renovated and knocked through to the main house to create a large open plan family area with mezzanine level. Zoned into living and dining areas, the barn incorporates bi-folding doors on two elevations opening the space up completely to both front and rear gardens. Egyptian limestone flooring has been used for the whole downstairs area, whilst a neutral carpet has been used for the stairs and mezzanine level.

My clients moved into a new home and wanted to give it a new look while still utilizing some of their existing pieces and keeping things traditional. She loves blue (and so do I), so we used her collection of blue/white vases and plates as our jumping off point. Side chairs are Bernhardt with Schumacher fabrics, end chairs are Ballard Designs with Maxwell fabric and drapery fabric is Osborne and Little.

A grand design with our Crema Castello brushed limestone. This new build with stunning architecture and a modern open-living approach is light and airy, lending itself to our Crema Castello limestone tiles with their creamy base and beige mottling.

This newly remodeled family home and in law unit in San Anselmo is 4000sf of light and space. The first designer was let go for presenting grey one too many times. My task was to skillfully blend all the color my clients wanted from their mix of Latin, Hispanic and Italian heritage and get it to read successfully.
Wow, no easy feat. Clients alway teach us so much. I learned that much more color could work than I ever thought possible.

We were commissioned to design and make a dining table from English Oak which was supplied to us by the client. The timber came from a tree felled 7 years ago on their private estate and had been air drying in a barn. We had to process and dry the timber for a further 18 months before it was ready to be made into the table. The unusual shapes of the boards made this a unique challenge and led to the patchwork design of the top. The oak has a wonderful colour and was finished in a natural oil to bring out the character.
