A wine cellar beautifully displayed through a glass hinged door with a black metallic frame and door handles. The wine display is a satin, redwood with custom shelving. The floor is a light brown vinyl. The walls are a matte gray with large white trim. Next to the cellar entrance is custom white book shelf that doubles as a secret door.

Our client purchased this home and knew he wanted a wine cellar incorporated into the space, but didn't just want a small wall style. He knew he would never use the existing dining room, so this was the space selected for the transformation. Lots of planning and details went into the process to make sure the mechanicals would support the temperature control, and also to blend the old world Italian heritage into a traditional home setting. We nailed it on giving him a unique look, with high end custom finishes noticed at every angle. This room remodel is very much enjoyed on a daily basis.

Custom wine cellar and tasting room with butlers pantry...wine racks and coffer ceiling are made of white oak and the butlers pantry cabinets are black walnut. Seamless glass divides the two spaces and we did brick on the ceiling in both the tasting room and wine cellar.

This 2 story home with a first floor Master Bedroom features a tumbled stone exterior with iron ore windows and modern tudor style accents. The Great Room features a wall of built-ins with antique glass cabinet doors that flank the fireplace and a coffered beamed ceiling. The adjacent Kitchen features a large walnut topped island which sets the tone for the gourmet kitchen. An unused small home office was transformed into haven in a suburban Texas home. For this space, function came first and the aesthetics were layered in. If a project does not meet its intended purpose, it is not successful. Incorporating the couples love of Argentina, bottle count, display appeal, case storage, and the ability to maintain a 55-degree environment were all design considerations. Specialized craftsman were hired to help with cooling, insulation, placement of the condenser, etc. An expert carpenter contributed his expert skills and knack for creating storage solutions. Strong beams were used to highlight the tiled ceiling and create an authentic grotto look. Pebble flooring adds to the Old World feel. Stone walls and herringbone ceiling lend an aged element. A medallion carefully selected from a little known source in Argentina is the centerpiece of the room; its pattern and color blends with the rest of the home’s decor and the inlaid glass tile adds shimmer. Double-paned iron and glass doors seal the room and create an entry of interest.
