A striking industrial kitchen for a newly built home in Buckinghamshire. This exquisite property, developed by EAB Homes, is a magnificent new home that sets a benchmark for individuality and refinement. The home is a beautiful example of open-plan living and the kitchen is the relaxed heart of the home and forms the hub for the dining area, coffee station, wine area, prep kitchen and garden room.
The kitchen layout centres around a U-shaped kitchen island which creates additional storage space and a large work surface for food preparation or entertaining friends. To add a contemporary industrial feel, the kitchen cabinets are finished in a combination of Grey Oak and Graphite Concrete. Steel accents such as the knurled handles, thicker island worktop with seamless welded sink, plinth and feature glazed units add individuality to the design and tie the kitchen together with the overall interior scheme.

This bespoke kitchen / dinning area works as a hub between upper floors and serves as the main living area. Delivering loads of natural light thanks to glass roof and large bespoke french doors. Stylishly exposed steel beams blend beautifully with carefully selected decor elements and bespoke stairs with glass balustrade.

A custom table was made to seat up to 12 when needed for family gatherings. Other elements relate to the craftsman style of the home with feather like patterned wallpaper, striped roman shades and a glass chandelier.

This project encompasses the renovation of two aging metal warehouses located on an acre just North of the 610 loop. The larger warehouse, previously an auto body shop, measures 6000 square feet and will contain a residence, art studio, and garage. A light well puncturing the middle of the main residence brightens the core of the deep building. The over-sized roof opening washes light down three masonry walls that define the light well and divide the public and private realms of the residence. The interior of the light well is conceived as a serene place of reflection while providing ample natural light into the Master Bedroom. Large windows infill the previous garage door openings and are shaded by a generous steel canopy as well as a new evergreen tree court to the west. Adjacent, a 1200 sf building is reconfigured for a guest or visiting artist residence and studio with a shared outdoor patio for entertaining. Photo by Peter Molick, Art by Karin Broker

This unique dining area features white leather chairs, a dark wood table top with chrome legs & eye catching circular center pieces! The modern style of this home is exhibited here with the abstract pendant lighting display over hanging this beautiful dining set up!

The kitchen, breakfast room and family room are all open to one another. The kitchen has a large twelve foot island topped with Calacatta marble and features a roll-out kneading table, and room to seat the whole family. The sunlight breakfast room opens onto the patio which has a built-in barbeque, and both bar top seating and a built in bench for outdoor dining. The large family room features a cozy fireplace, TV media, and a large built-in bookcase. The adjoining craft room is separated by a set of pocket french doors; where the kids can be visible from the family room as they do their homework.

This 6500 s.f. new home on one of the best blocks in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights, was designed for the needs of family with two work-from-home professionals. We focused on well-scaled rooms and excellent flow between spaces. We applied customized classical detailing and luxurious materials over a modern design approach of clean lines and state-of-the-art contemporary amenities. Materials include integral color stucco, custom mahogany windows, book-matched Calacatta marble, slate roofing and wrought-iron railings.

Natural stone dimensional tile and river rock media transform an uninspiring double-sided gas fireplace. Removing the original French doors on either side of the fireplace allows the new ventless fireplace to command center stage, creating a large fluid space connecting the elegant breakfast room and bonus family room
