We solved the layout issue by placing the kitchen where the guest bath was and a new guest bath in the former location of the kitchen. This opened the living, dining and kitchen area of the home to create a space that is ideal for entertaining.

Robin Rigby Fisher, CMKBD/CAPS/CLIPPSA small kitchen needs to be designed by being cognizant of every kitchen item the client owns and when the kitchen is only 90 sq ft, this can be quite challenging!
The original kitchen housed a double wall oven, cook top and 36” range. Since space was at a minimum and the client’s list for appliances was extensive (range, warming drawer, wine refrigerator, dishwasher, ref) we had to think quite creatively. We also had 2 doors to contend with and 2 focal points to create!
The first step was to move to a 27” wide refrigerator, this gained 9 additional inches of working counter space between the sink and refrigerator. Opting for a 24” wide single bowl sink over the original 30” netted a total of 15” for a tray divider cabinet and 39” of working counter space between the sink and the refrigerator!
The new 30” range was positioned as star on the same wall as the existing cook top. Since the space did not lend us the ability to balance the cabinet doors sizes on both sides of the hood, we chose a door style that focused your eyes not on the overall size of the door, but on the vertical detailing. The subtle grain of the Rift White Oak further minimized the odd sizing of the doors.

To help create a visual width of the room – we used a glass tile set in a horizontal pattern. Our ultimate goal for this space was to create a calm and flowing space, all appliances are fully integrated to enhance the visual flow to the room.

Kitchen & Bath GalleryThis whole house remodel included a kitchen & 3 baths for a young growing family.
They were going for a transitional style with a coastal twist. The kitchen was designed using Fieldstone Cabinetry with a light-colored perimeter and a darker island for contrast. The traditional farmhouse style sink is contrasted with a contemporary single control faucet in polished chrome.

DANIELLE Interior Design & DecorAccenting the teal glass backsplash tile is the cozy window seat with a colorful vibrant diamond pattern. In Small spaces you need to maximize every inch. In this space a custom bench seat was made to not only cozy up and read a book but also to use as storage for bigger beach items like umbrellas and an additional air mattress! A reading light and plug were added to the wall for additional light while reading and a place to change your phone while in use. The layered patterned pillows add fun and excitement to the small corner space. With a touch of beach decor the small studio apartment does not become overwhelmed with clique items.

AHMANN LLCA family kitchen with a focus on the yard was the Owner’s intent. Plus some space to cloister away in private luxury. Down went the useless undersized garage, and up went a two story addition. With space to drop off incoming junk, space to eat, space to lounge, space to work, and a connection to a new patio, the kitchen fulfills the goal of a room to live in. Design FocusThis small penthouse apartment was given a wonderful nook space by creating a half moon glass bar height table perched above the cooktop island, supported with standoffs and a custom 'cigarette' base of wenge veneer. Custom swivel barstools with nickel footrests top off the fabulous spot, with swarovski crystal pendants creating both light and a bit of glamour above.
