Regent's Park Terrace
A Victorian terraced townhouse in London. The house was undergoing intensive internal renovations concurrently with the garden build. With this in mind, the clients wished to enhance the garden in line with the high internal standard. Keen to emulate a more informal, almost rustic English garden, Aralia created a unique garden to juxtapose the many clean cut, contemporary London terraces surrounding. The garden is broken down into 4 sections of concentric circles, including near and far terraces, and two sections of lawn, which the client requested.
Aralia had to overcome the logistical complexities of having no machinery access, and all materials/ labour coming through the house and down the stairs, yet we strived for a successful garden.
Original and innovative features in this garden included the double water rill which surrounds the area of the Far terrace. As well as the New Victorian staircase and balustrade installed as part of the garden works.
