Set for an afternoon gathering, the Ciacchis' picnic table is nothing less than effortlessly elegant. Pulling from her inspirations toward southern charm and hospitality, Jennifer combines treasures from her "junking" adventures with vintage Eva Zeisel china to create a mood befitting of the most perfect summer day.
The 12-foot table was hand made from barn siding. Jennifer picked the chairs from a dumpster, later realizing that each one had a name on it. "Because on the back of each one is a name of the person's chair, it makes it fun for parties because everyone gets a new name at dinner!" she says. Woven votives hang overhead, ready to create evening ambiance.

City Garden CompanyThis garden in Athens, GA needed a new lease of life. We re-designed and installed the backyard area, adding in the patio and pathway area to complement the existing structures. Shrubs and perennials were planted around to create a feeling of peaceful intimacy.

Mix Design GroupCustom pergola and flagstone patio feature a custom-built "china cabinet" to create an outdoor living room. The cabinet - complete with bubble glass door inserts and soft close drawers - served as a potting shed. The wooden walls on either side are disguised storage closets that house gardening tools.

Red Fox ForestryA dry creek in this forest backyard was the solution to a recurring drainage problem. The dry creek was created with river rock and lined with cedar trees found on the client's property. The edges were planted with native ontario plants including ferns and sedges.
