This stunning glass enclosed modern custom wine cellar was designed and installed by Vintage Cellars earlier this year. The Contemporary Custom Wine Room was fitted into an existing fireplace space, turning the visually unappealing sore thumb of the room into a magnificent show stopping centerpiece. This modern luxury condo on the 31st floor in a downtown San Diego high-rise acted as a very interesting project for the custom wine cellar design team at Vintage Cellars. The modern wine room space has dual paned, insulated glass but because of the nature of glass itself, the cooling unit was recommended to be oversized. The custom wine room space itself didn't have great options for venting the cooling unit due to the location on the 31st floor. The best option to vent was determined to treat the wine room as a wine cabinet, per se. The Cooling Unit, a CellarPro 1800 XTS, was placed in the ceiling, venting down cool air and circulating vented air back upward. The result works perfectly for a uniquely modern and contemporary space such as this. This fully enclosed, glass front custom wine cellar boasts a 300 bottle capacity with a sleek, modern, label forward feel that ULTRA Wine Peg racking is known for. The center section is a double stacked full reveal display row, showcasing some of the homeowner's finer wines. Though no particular space was made within the wine racking area, the design of this modern custom wine cellar was pushed back a couple of feet so that wine case storage could be an option between the glass front and the custom racking. Additionally, the clean feel goes even further upon looking for the entrance into this wine cellar. The flat panel on the furthest left side opens slowly and almost magically when pushed in slightly. A great, modern touch! A gorgeous, modern condo such as this is just begging to have a custom wine cellar. This space, with big help from this contemporary wine room, screams luxury upon entering. Mirrored wine closet featuring tension cable "RING system" wine racking - in a PGI Homes showhome in Cape Coral FL. Bottles appear to be floating as they are held up by this very contemporary wine rack using metal Rings suspended with aircraft tension cable. The columns anchor floor to ceiling allowing the wine closet effect to be enhanced by two glass doors and a mirrored wall feature behind the bottles.

This large, devout family in West LA hired us to make their new construction, storybook traditional home dreams come true. And we had such a joy in working with them and love the end result. Small touches of contemporary lighting and art make the space feel updated and fresh, while materials and forms of the furnishings lent themselves to a truly timeless result. The basketweave backsplash lends beautiful interest while not competing with the cabinet design. We love a good traditional design, and had a wonderful time with this project and these clients.

Our client purchased this home and knew he wanted a wine cellar incorporated into the space, but didn't just want a small wall style. He knew he would never use the existing dining room, so this was the space selected for the transformation. Lots of planning and details went into the process to make sure the mechanicals would support the temperature control, and also to blend the old world Italian heritage into a traditional home setting. We nailed it on giving him a unique look, with high end custom finishes noticed at every angle. This room remodel is very much enjoyed on a daily basis.

This normal everyday closet was turned into this beautiful wine cellar. What a show piece for our clients to show off their impressive Wine Collection. Thanks to Mark Sweeden for his fantastic work.

Custom wine cellar and tasting room with butlers pantry...wine racks and coffer ceiling are made of white oak and the butlers pantry cabinets are black walnut. Seamless glass divides the two spaces and we did brick on the ceiling in both the tasting room and wine cellar.

This luxurious home bar seamlessly combines classic elegance with modern functionality. The space features a beautifully crafted bar area with intricate wood paneling, custom cabinetry, and a gracefully curved countertop with a brass foot rail, adding a touch of sophistication. Adjacent to the bar, a stunning wine cellar is enclosed by sleek glass doors, showcasing finely detailed woodwork, custom wine racks, and a marble-patterned hexagonal floor. The coffered ceiling with a crystal chandelier enhances the refined ambiance. Completing the setting, a grand fireplace mantel with an integrated TV serves as a focal point, framed by exquisite moldings and decorative carvings. Originally built for Pamplemousse's 5th anniversary, this wine cellar proves classic and timeless with distressed maple doors and traditional redwood racking behind them.
