Special Features
I like the look of the walkway. Maybe going to front door?
Perhaps metal/chrome shelves alongside fireplace if it’s on window wall for display items?
What is this surface?
Instead of closet or cabinet (traditional)
Idea for drip dry?
For hallways
Tops of kitchen cabinets
Railing!
Outdoor fireplace with brick oven alongside?
Matt
Upper windows in main level bedroom
This shoe storage idea! Not really a fan of the glass doors in front of clothing, but just really like the idea of pulling out that section for shoes.
For mud room? Also deeper one for boots?
Another idea for windows in master shower.
I like the windows. Possible to get transom on top or bottom for air flow?
LOVE the ceiling!
I like the beams used to define spaces, but not sure if this would work if we kept the current living room and master section with the peaked ceilings.
Matt needs an organizer in laundry/mud room from garage
Idea for beams in existing family room? Use the two tones of wood?
Cut outs! Great idea for “opening rooms”
Love the window at the top of the shower. Could one be made to open out from the bottom?
To break up hallway & spread light, use vertical slats in small doses?
This is how I’d like to have a closet for the main entry! I also really like the two woods used.
Another shoe idea for mud room
I’d like to pull the front entry forward. I also like the stone pavers for a walkway from the drive, large enough to step on, but not a solid slab. Wonder how permeable pavers would be viewed by Land Trust..
I just like this “wall” defining space, but allowing the rest of the house to be revealed in part
I want to learn to weld. And I love copper outside!
I only like the idea of the power outlets tucked under
This is how I’d like my windows to meet the countertops! Also, I like built in seating, but more rounded than square.
I love the layers on that pillar and the way the windows go down to the floor. However, I’d rather have a transom at the bottom that I can open for air.
Maybe a much smaller version of a desk area upstairs in the library?
Clever idea for corner cabinet usage
