Laundry
Custom cabinetry conceals laundry equipment while the quartz stone top provides ample space for folding.
Screen-paneled door allows for air circulation for the laundry machines, while cabinet door hinges allow doors to be slid into the cabinet along the sides to maximize access. Great idea for stacked closet laundry set-up
Plywood doors, with SOSS invisible hinges, with a flush finish door jamb; could help to make a discreet laundry closet in the condo entryway
Special storage features. A vertical pullout — similar to something you might find next to a range in a kitchen — stores detergent pods and paper towels between the appliances. The lower cabinet doors conceal the appliances when not in use. “The key element to the success of our design was the idea to hide the washer and dryer away behind retractable cabinet doors,” Wundrow says. “These doors can be left open when the units are in use, but when someone is not actively working on the laundry, the room becomes more of a sanctuary.” Other key details. Custom reeded oak lower cabinets. Quartzite countertops and backsplash. Hand-painted wallpaper in a custom color. The upper cabinets are painted in Scroll by Benjamin Moore.
Stacked washer & dryer in a kitchen cabinet with doors that slide in & tuck away for better access to the machines. Vents appear to be placed at top and bottom as well
Good components: storage cupboard and drawers, laundry and dryer at same level side by side, folding counter, sink, and rack for hang-drying clothes. Other nice elements include a window for natural light, space enough for loading/unloading with a clothes hamper in front of the machines, and tile floor for protection against wet things. The finishes, however, are not my style.
Pretty idea for a laundry room with door to outside
