Stature Custom Homes

This is a notice for anyone considering Chris Salman and Stature Custom Homes…DON’T!!! Chris, the owner and general contractor is disreputable, to say the least. He can’t write anything down and then conveniently “forgets” to do things. Even though I wrote endless emails and texts to him to remind him of his promises, in the end he did whatever he felt like doing…or not doing. It was a constant fight. He also tried to keep our village bond money and when he didn’t get it, he claimed we cheated him out of it. Now that our house is done, he is refusing to cover the 1 year warranty items. We’ve had to deal directly with his subcontractors to get any results, which should be his job. We’ve had to file a claim with his insurance company for a water leak that he refuses to address since during construction and he is fighting that as well. Chris is arrogant, entitled and dishonest-a very dangerous combination for anyone investing their hard earned money into their dream home. Please heed this warning and find another builder so your dreams aren’t shattered.
