Brothers Renovations performed extensive remodeling work on a unit inside a duplex we own. Work included a completely new kitchen and bath, refinished wood floors, new HVAC, new interior doors, and painting/finish work. We couldn’t be happier with the work Alex performed. Everything from design to demo to build was done professionally and with great skill. Alex is someone who clearly enjoys and takes pride in his work, and it shows in the job done. In addition to doing great work, Brothers also excels in an area most contractors fall short, communication. I never had to wonder what was going on, Alex provided near daily updates with photos, and always responded to calls/texts quickly. On top of everything, Alex is also very personable and a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend Brothers Renovations enough.

We are just finishing up a major renovation with Alex and Brothers Renovations. We looked at several contractors and we are very happy to have found Alex to work with on this project. We added on a family room AND gutted and remodeled the kitchen. No easy task. Alex started the process by offering many options for what we said we wanted to do. Once we decided on the design and got to work Alex made sure everything was done to perfection, consulting with us and making suggestions for changes along the way. Alex didn't just do what we asked for, he listened to what we wanted and made many suggestions to make it better and try to keep things within budget. It is with great pleasure to write an unsolicited letter of recommendation on behalf of Brothers Renovations. Alex was the general contractor for the remodeling project which was of significant size. Previously to this engagement I had no prior relationship with Alex and Brothers Renovations. He came highly referenced by my realtor. The scope of the remodeling involved window replacements, wall removal, massive header spanning a large area, hardwood floors refinished, cabinets painted, entire interior of house painted, kitchen floor tiled, laundry room floor tiled, front foyer tiled, new lights in the kitchen, and all of my appliances installed. The project took about 8 weeks and involved work crews of carpenters, painters, electricians, plumbers, and a structural engineer at a budget of just over $40,000. While major remodeling is inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, Alex’s services as a general contractor were invaluable, and I am extremely pleased with the final result. Specifically, I would give Alex top marks for the quality of work performed which was consistently top notch. Alex used subcontractors who were knowledgeable, skilled, and competent in their respective trades. They were conscientious about following project specifications, and their work product rarely needed improvement or revision. They had an old school work ethic and work habits. The project management and coordination that Alex provided showed a deep prior experience working in construction. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of our project, and was able to plan, coordinate and manage the activities of different work crews effectively. He remained closely involved in overseeing the project from start to finish. His excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and commitment to follow-through are assets which enabled him to juggle the extensive details involved in our project without missing a beat. I would highly recommend Brothers Renovation. I will be using them again for some bathroom remodeling in the near future.

I really enjoyed working with Alex. My renovation was extensive and included more than a few scope changes (my fault) but Alex was able to keep all the subcontractors well coordinated. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It's been months but every time I walk into my new kitchen I still smile.

Alex came out to our project, once by himself and another time with one of his subcontractors and promised to have a quote for us within a few days. He knew we were interviewing other contractors and were anxious to get a quote back so we could make a choice and start on our project. We've emailed and called him but have not heard back from him and so we decided to go with another contractor. We would understand if he didn't want to take the job but to not communicate at all was a sign to us that it would not be someone we would want to work with. Very, very unprofessional!
