Like so many home owners, the prospect of completely renovating and decorating our 3000 sq ft house, including bathrooms and kitchen, was totally intimidating. So, we turned to Liz Munro of Elizabeth Munro Design in Oakville. It was a smart decision. Liz turned our visions into stunning reality. She was in control of the entire project: the initial design, project timelines, the crews and all the design elements: materials, plumbing and lighting fixtures, tiles and paint. Liz also selected new furnishing for every room -- guiding us with a remarkable talent, choosing the style, upholstery and fabrics that completely met with our exacting tastes. And, our budget was always top of mind with Liz. Whenever we guide guests on a tour of our home, we get the same question every time "Can we get the name of your designer?" We tell them without hesitation: Elizabeth Munro design.

I have had an on-going relationship with Elizabeth Munro for almost 10 years. During that time, Liz has designed and managed many projects for me including a full kitchen renovation, family room remodel (including fireplace replacement and full furniture replacement) in one home; and a top-to-bottom update in a second home including living room (fireplace, furniture, entertainment system, custom furniture, electrical), dining room (paint, window treatments, furniture and fabric); bedrooms (carpets, window treatments, paint, bedding and re-upholstry), as well and managing total home re-painting and partial hardwood floor replacement. I am looking forward to working with Liz on another kitchen and laundry room reno in my current home. Liz's knowledge of design, her versatility, her ability to explain options and WHY something will work or not work makes her very easy to work with. I also like that she is able to deal effectively with the trades and suppliers.
