Elite Landscaping OmahaKeeping family close - and entertained - was the goal for this backyard remodel and waterfall installation by Elite Landscaping. This backyard entertaining oasis boasts a swimming pool, 12' high waterfall with a built-in 7' grotto underneath, and a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen and poolhouse. The beautiful poolscape helps the family love their outdoor space and offers them a peaceful escape - right at home. The in ground pool construction project and pool house included building an outdoor kitchen with grill, refrigerator, accessories, and granite countertops. The outdoor entertaining area features natural cedar underdecking, and a luxurious poolscape with large pondless waterfall. The natural stone firepit has a custom natural stone bench seat and polished natural stone caps. The custom designed paver pool deck, custom plantings, outdoor lighting accents, and boulders surround the outdoor environment with the perfect finishing touch.
Kitchen Design ConceptsIn our world of kitchen design, it’s lovely to see all the varieties of styles come to life. From traditional to modern, and everything in between, we love to design a broad spectrum. Here, we present a two-tone modern kitchen that has used materials in a fresh and eye-catching way. With a mix of finishes, it blends perfectly together to create a space that flows and is the pulsating heart of the home.
With the main cooking island and gorgeous prep wall, the cook has plenty of space to work. The second island is perfect for seating – the three materials interacting seamlessly, we have the main white material covering the cabinets, a short grey table for the kids, and a taller walnut top for adults to sit and stand while sipping some wine! I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend time in this kitchen?!
Cabinetry
With a tuxedo trend look, we used Cabico Elmwood New Haven door style, walnut vertical grain in a natural matte finish. The white cabinets over the sink are the Ventura MDF door in a White Diamond Gloss finish.
Countertops
The white counters on the perimeter and on both islands are from Caesarstone in a Frosty Carrina finish, and the added bar on the second countertop is a custom walnut top (made by the homeowner!) with a shorter seated table made from Caesarstone’s Raw Concrete.
Backsplash
The stone is from Marble Systems from the Mod Glam Collection, Blocks – Glacier honed, in Snow White polished finish, and added Brass.
Fixtures
A Blanco Precis Silgranit Cascade Super Single Bowl Kitchen Sink in White works perfect with the counters. A Waterstone transitional pulldown faucet in New Bronze is complemented by matching water dispenser, soap dispenser, and air switch. The cabinet hardware is from Emtek – their Trinity pulls in brass.
Appliances
The cooktop, oven, steam oven and dishwasher are all from Miele. The dishwashers are paneled with cabinetry material (left/right of the sink) and integrate seamlessly Refrigerator and Freezer columns are from SubZero and we kept the stainless look to break up the walnut some. The microwave is a counter sitting Panasonic with a custom wood trim (made by Cabico) and the vent hood is from Zephyr.
The Beach Group Properties, LLCOff of the living room extends an expansive screened porch with a beautiful wood and beamed ceiling that provides additional coveted outdoor space protected from the elements.

JRP Design & RemodelFor three years this Westlake Village couple lived in a house that didn't quite fit their needs. With frequent houseguests staying for weeks at a time, the family needed more space, particularly in the cramped kitchen. So began their search for a new home. Though the couple viewed several residences, they realized nothing compared to the space and location of the house they already owned. The family knew JRP by reputation from friends who were JRP clients. After consulting with our team, the couple agreed a whole-home renovation was the way to the dream home they had been searching for. Inspired by top architectural magazines, the couple had a clear vision of how their home should look and feel: a clean, open, modern space with a mix of details that played to the family's lively spirit.
The highlight of this new, open floorplan home is the gorgeous kitchen perfect for hosting. The unified palette is soft and beautiful. Clean, bright surfaces underpin strong visual elements such as polished quartz countertops, brushed oak floors, and glass tiles set in a herringbone pattern. A center-island breakfast bar now sits opposite a giant picture window and a show-stopping view of the Santa Monica mountains. Upstairs, the redesigned master bath is what dreams are made of. The double vanity and freestanding tub were rearranged to maximize space while the wood tile floors and stunning rock backsplash add an elemental feel. Now completely transformed, every detail of this transitional home creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and entertaining.

Archadeck - ColumbusThe pavers selected by the homeowners are Unilock’s Bristol Valley pavers in the steel mountain color, which is a beautifully subtle color blend. The rounded pavers along the edges of the walkway leading from the first door to the main patio area, and around the planter area by the wall, are Unilock Brussels Fullnose pavers. These rounded pavers in a lighter color provide contrast and soften the edges of the curved walkway and planter.
Grenfell & PeplowWe designed this bespoke traditional laundry for a client with a very long wish list!
1) Seperate laundry baskets for whites, darks, colours, bedding, dusters, and delicates/woolens.
2) Seperate baskets for clean washing for each family member.
3) Large washing machine and dryer.
4) Drying area.
5) Lots and LOTS of storage with a place for everything.
6) Everything that isn't pretty kept out of sight.
