We recently worked with Adamick Architecture on a historic home renovation. They helped us carry out our vison while ensuring everything was well thought out and functional. They brought lots of creative ideas to the project and incorporated architectural features that we would not have thought of. Alec led us to the contractor that we ended up working with which was a great fit. The team was tremendously helpful during the permitting phase as well. Overall working with AA was a great experience!

My girlfriend and I hired Adamick in April 2018 to provide architectural services and manage the construction of the property, as we live in Los Angeles and this was a second home. The home is a historic shotgun, built in 1880 and was in need of a full renovation. Alec and his team were incredibly conscious of the history of the house, and creative in its design elements as we moved through the process. At the outset, we discussed a budget and timeline and both were met with some mutually agreed changes to the budget. Alec and his team were administratively strong in the management of the construction process and allowed us to rest easy as we monitored the project from half way across the country. With respect to design, Alec and his team stood out and designed an incredibly beautiful home that is also practical in its everyday use. They won an award for their design, and the house was featured in Dwell as a result of its design elements. Finally, we both really liked Alec and enjoyed collaborating with him as these projects require many hours of collaboration and debate. I would highly recommend Alec's firm if your intent is to build a beautiful home, with unique detail to the design, all for a budget that makes sense.

Alec and support staff were conscientious and detailed which translated to great service and results. They pushed for permits with the city and received them quickly. They are familiar with the employees of the permitting office so had a direct and positive line of communication with the individuals reviewing our plans and were able turn around questions efficiently and effectively. Although we did not use their services as managers of the project, we should have done so. As far as the drafting of the plans themselves, it was an interactive process during which Alec and I designed the layout of a full house renovation, including removal of walls and reconfiguring every room in the house. Interesting and effective way of handling the design as opposed to sending over drawings that had only one vision for the house. i recommend Adamick Architecture and have done so when given the opportunity.

We used Adamick to design our retirement home when we were planning a move from Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas to New Orleans. It was important to us to be able to accomplish this from a distance. We had many Zoom meetings with Adamick and were able to get our house designed exactly as we wanted it. Adamick then helped us through the process of hiring a building contractor and supervised every step of the building process. He took pictures at each stage of the construction so that we were able to see what was going on . He was very attentive to every detail and was always available to us. I would highly recommend him.
