HISTORY The artist has been making these new and innovative wire constructions since 2007. This concept and production method was created solely by our artist and, to our knowledge, is the first type in the world. Each wire piece is carefully welded together in a process that has not been done or repeated before. ABOUT THE STRUCTURES Each wire structure is typically made from 2.5-3.2mm thick iron wire welded together to form a shape. Larger and heavier structures are made from 5mm thick wire to ensure durability. A structure can have thousands of weld points. Once the structure has been completed, it can be left as is (rusty) or covered with chrome or zinc. Any colour can be chosen to suit your needs or to complement your environment. These structures can last 100 years outside and will be uniquely altered by the weather. In fact, weathered structures tend to have more character. Human-sized structures weigh approximately 90 lb / 40kg. THE CENTAUR STRUCTURE This centaur statue stands over 10 feet tall and is made with over 3km of wire. This solid structure is made up of over 40,000 weld points and is approximately 310lb / 140kg. The size of this structure can be customized to fit your requirements. STANDARD OR INDIVIDUALIZED DESIGN The wire structure can be created as per your design and preference. We can help with your design and offer suggestions to bring your creative idea to life. Basic, pre-constructed wire structures, such as flower vases, candle holders, or garden statues, are also available. These basic structures can be modified to suit your individual vision and design as well. DELIVERY After the structure has been completed, we ensure a quick and safe delivery.
