We went under contract with Previously named Anderson - Jenkins home now Alair homes for a custom built home in the Vintage Oaks subdivision. Upon moving into our new home (June 1, 2018) we were instructed to compose a "punch list" that the builder would come back and finish. Our list ranges from holes in stucco, cracked windows, metal lining on numerous windows, no mantle above indoor fireplace, etc.. After many visits with many different project managers, emails from Michele and Jeff Jenkins himself we still have a LONG unresolved list of things in our home unfinished. After taking my disappointment to social media I received a message from Jeff Jenkins via next-door to let me know that his contract was with Jeff Barber not Amanda (Jeffs wife). Yet to my disappointment again nothing has changed. I recommend that everyone stay FAR FAR FAR away from this builder.

Was not told that we had to pay for land to be cleared. After paying 25K down now they want 11k to for us to contact someone to have it cleared. Do we have to frame an pour our own foundation also. Not sure of completion date. I will not recommend Alair for any custom home. Rip off

We had the privilege of moving into an Alair home, built by Jeff Jenkins. The attention to detail and how well thought out every aspect of our home is something rarely seen. The functionality and craftsmanship is superior. Best built solid home we have ever seen. Besides the superb craftsmanship, Jeff has always been available to us with any questions, with very efficient answers and promptly returned calls. After interviewing several builders, we put our trust in Alair to build our custom home. The design process was extremely smooth; Terri listened to our wants and needs very well and within a couple of weeks, she delivered plans for our review that exceeded our expectations. With a few minor revisions, we had the perfect set of plans and elevations for our dream home. The construction process, although challenged by weather delays, completed pretty much on time and on budget. We truly love our new home and have received many compliments on how beautiful is it; the top notch quality of workmanship is evident throughout. We can honestly say that our home was built according to plan with no major changes along the way. Overall, we are extremely happy with our new home and wouldn’t change a thing.

This was an outstanding company to work with regarding the construction of our home. Our Anderson-Jenkins home was well built and designed to the exact specifications needed based on our budget. We were very pleased on how well everything came together regarding the company's organization with sub-contractors who also performed excellent workmanship during the construction of our home. I would highly recommend Anderson-Jenkins to anyone looking for a good quality custom built home for those that have to work in a budget like we did.

From beginning to end, AJ Signature Homes communicated extremely well, kept on time, focused on the details, and produced a beautiful, quality home. I've never worked with a builder that was so willing to make changes during construction, and even suggested changes that made sense. These guys really know their stuff. Their framing, sheetrock, and electrical crews were absolutely the best. They will be my first pick when I'm ready to build my next house.

Great builder! We chose Anderson and Jenkins after interviewing four other builders that build in New Braunfels. My wife and I de died to retire in New Braunfels and neede. Trustworth builder as we would be absent during most of the build. We hired Anderson and Jenkins because of their reputation and integrity. Our building experience was excellent. From their design team, craftsmen in the field, and their business personnel proved we had made the right choice. This combination of skills meant few warranty issues after completion. If a custom home is in your future, we recommend Anderson & Jenkins Signature Homes.

We selected Anderson Jenkins after interviewing several builders. We gave them a rudimentary design and their designers completed our floor plan. They were very transparent during the entire process and we had built several new homes in the past. The project came in at or under budget and we were very satisfied with the quality of our home. Additionally, attention to detail was excellent and they were very attentive to our needs and took care of anything that came up after we moved in even if something was no longer under the standard warranty. Jeff and Shayne are stand up guys and we would do business with them again if we had the need . I would highly recommend them. Stephen Thompson

Great home builder! My wife and I talked to many different builders that wanted to know my finances before going forward. Jeff Jenkins called me and wanted to see my property before anything else..... then it just got better. Jeff and Terry helped design the house and get all the numbers together. They recommended a finance company, who was outstanding. Then Shayne Anderson took over construction. The entire team at Anderson-Jenkins was great! I have heard numerous bad stories about custom home builders from friends and family. Anderson-Jenkins was outstanding from day one!! I really can't say enough about this group of people. Thanks to Jeff, Terry, Shayne, and the rest of their team!!!
