Alistair Fleming Design

We have known the work of Alistair Fleming Design and the designer Sarah Eynon for a number of years. Sarah designed our kitchen (2017), lounge (2019) and bedroom (2019). She is a highly-skilled designer who understood our requirements very quickly and was able to realise them with almost no need for revision. It was a pleasure to work with her, and we valued her enthusiasm and commitment to each job. She clearly enjoyed each project and took a great pride in seeing them through to their conclusion. In addition her technical knowledge regarding kitchen equipment and materials was invaluable. She made herself available to respond immediately to any questions we might have had during each project. She has an eye both for the practical application of her design and for the aesthetic look and feel. Each time she has come up with ideas for things that we hadn't thought of that have significantly added to the appearance and usefulness of the finished build. To say that were have been thrilled by everything she has done for us would be an understatement! We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her skills to anyone. As always we are thrilled by the craftsmanship and expertise of Alistair Fleming Design, and by the highly personal service this wonderful company offers.

Alistair Fleming kitchens are quite simply the best I have ever seen.The standards set are from a bygone age.After over twenty years we have moved .the kitchen left is still immaculate .Our new kitchen if anything exceeds expectations. Also delightful people to deal with.

Ollie Clark, the designer at Alistair Fleming, listened carefully to our considerable design challenges. We wanted him to plan an urban looking kitchen that was neither modern nor country (we live in the middle of London), include our large table and old Lacanche cooker, manage the fixed drainage outlets and inconvenient walls and be in harmony with our living area. Ollie managed these requirements with ease. Alistair’s cabinet makers and fitters surpassed our expectations. We now have a relaxed, understated and slightly retro kitchen which makes me happy every time I walk in. And, hopefully, it will last forever. Thank you

Sarah at AF has designed a kitchen for our new very modern house combining traditional Shaker style with interesting additions in oak and a beautiful stone work surface. Every detail was carefully thought through resulting in a great place to cook, congregate and eat. This is our second AF kitchen.

We are thrilled with our bespoke kitchen from Alistair Fleming which sits at the heart of a major period renovation. The team provided excellent advice and guidance, from the design and the look we wanted to achieve through the choice of materials as well as appliances and fittings. The cabinetry and joinery is superb and was fitted with reassuring precision. I smile every time I cook or entertain. We particularly appreciated the additional support with suppliers and builders to ensure an excellent finish and that we kept within budget.

We designed a high quality bespoke kitchen, which works well both aesthetically and technically. We were all very pleased with the end result. I received excellent service from Alistair Fleming Design. Sarah, my consultant, was extremely helpful and produced a brilliant design. Our house is a 400 year old farmhouse, none of the walls are straight, and the space was quite quirky so it wasn't very easy. She listened closely to my ideas, used them, and made them better! I am really pleased with the end result - the layout is brilliant and I love using the kitchen. The fitter also did a superb job installing the kitchen. He had to work around builders who were on site at the same time. Last minute adjustments were handled without any problems. After care service is also very good. A little touching up was needed and this was done very promptly. I feel very happy knowing that if I was ever to have any problems with the kitchen the team at Alistair Fleming Design would sort it out quickly for me. Overall I would highly recommend this company.

Finished at last to the highest spec, just a few things needed to be sorted out as the installation progressed all done in a very professional manner. After finishing the kitchen we had some cupboards built for books in the study which were wonderful. This was done the following year.
