Almira Fine Furniture

I am sorry we could not accommodate this customer. The desk purchased by the customer was on our showroom floor. The customer spent well over 45 minutes going over the desk, checking everything out on it. Although we did not wish to sell our floor model desk, the customer was insistent they wanted it ASAP so we allowed them to purchase it. Well after the desk was delivered, the customer called with complaints that if these were problems (height of desk, top surface texture, etc) should have been observed when they looked and tried the actual desk in our showroom. There is nothing wrong with the desk. The customer called the manufacturer, Hooker Furniture, and they re-iterated the same thing. Almira Fine Furniture stands behind the products we sell. We have been selling quality furniture for our 35 years. We pride ourselves on our customer service when a legitimate issue arises, even if a product is out of warranty. In this instance, there is nothing wrong with the product and both the manufacturer and Almira have expressed this to the customer.
