A Landscape Architect with over 30 years international experience across all aspects of a project lifecycle. Landscape architecture is traditionally thought of in terms of providing design and management solutions for outdoor spaces to create a harmony and balance between aesthetic values and functional needs - the juxtaposition of minimum input integrating and enhancing the natural environment contrasts with the opportunity for complete intervention to create a compositional order of geometry, plant form and intimacy. I view landscape architecture as the conscious awareness of our authentic and spiritual relationship to the land which provides a manifesto to ensure aesthetic values and functional needs are considered within the prism of sustainable land management and functioning ecosystems.
