Dealing with this company was a nightmare from beginning to …. Would say end but after more than a year from the first down payment there are still things that are incomplete. A four week project turned into months including thousands of dollars not in the original estimate. No call backs and no shows for weeks seemed to be the standard. Loss of words at how disappointing and frustrating it was to work with these people!

Do yourself a favor and Stay clear of this company! We signed a contract to have them build our pool for a home that was being built in Westlake. We were including the pool cost with the mortgage. It was like pulling teeth to get this company to work with our bank. We had to beg them to return emails and phone calls. They also had a lien on their business from a supplier that needed to be satisfied for the mortgage company to approve them on the loan. The mortgage company and myself asked for 3 weeks for this release of lien as our closing date was fast approaching. No emails returned no phone calls returned from the office. Long story short they never got the lien release and it is too late to choose a different company, we will not be able to get a pool.This should have been an easy fix if someone would have put forth the correct effort. I wouldn't recommend this company to build bird bath! Hire anyone else!

My husband and I hired Anything Wet to do our new pool. Going into the project we were hesitant because of all the bad news reports about pool companies. A family member had just done a pool with them and they recommend the company to us. After meeting with Penny and deciding the layout, cost, and plans being approved by the city the entire built took 5-6 weeks, sooner than the promised lead time of 6-8 weeks. Everyone was very responsive to all our questions and concerns. Skyler was a great help throughout the built and with the permits and very organized. Pat the owner was out at our property almost every day checking the process and working on the pool. We all love the pool and are very much looking forward to this summer. I highly recommend Anything Wet to any one looking for a pool company.

From the moment I walked in to the store I was impressed with the level of work from all the staff. Everyone was attentive and understood what was required. Once I signed the contract, the work proceeded extremely quickly and expertly. Most days the owner was not only on site but was also working along with his crew. This shows a level of skill and professionalism that you don't see much in this day and age. Very refreshing. My pool looks AMAZING and I am so pleased with the outcome. I got estimates from TEN different companies and in the end I am so glad I went with Anything Wet. Highly recommend!!

Scope of work for this project was to build pool with spa, sundeck, deck jets and travertine deck. I have to say the experience was great. Anything Wet is a truly professional company and the quality of the work is unparallel. I'm very satisfied with everything they have done and with the final product. Construction went smooth and job was finished on time. They are very responsive and responsible in their work. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Doing business with this company has been a pleasure from start to finish. Not to mention, what a superior job they did. Complete concrete, tile, coping, handrail, decorative mosaics, and new plaster done in 8 days. Highly highly recommend. We are so happy with the service we received and the end product.

I hired this company to do a refinish plaster work for my pool and install a salt system about 5 years ago. 2 weeks ago a drained my pool to wash it and replace the water, immediately I noticed cracks and hallow spots behind my plaster, I called the company to ask for them to come and inspect the plaster. Not only that they didn't want come to check the situation they also blamed me that I drained the pool and voided the warranty on the product. Joe the salesman's response was: "why did you drain the pool, you should not do it since it is voiding the warranty, put water back in your pool and it will push the air pockets back and you will not see the cracks....", (seriously???!!!). I called several other companies and they all told me that it is absolutely not true, if you drain to wash the pool and right away refill the pool you shouldn't have any problems. I ended up refinishing my pool and paid over $6000 since I had to remove about 25% of the plaster work that they did, I had huge air pockets and cracks behind the plaster work that they did since they didn't prep the pool properly before applying the "Florida Gem" product. I brought over 5 different professionals and they all said the exact same "bad prep work". On top of that I discovered the the salt system that they sold me was half the size that I needed for my pool. Stay away from this company.

RUN. AS FAST AS YOU CAN - away from these people. All the bad reviews are true. We asked the saleswoman, Lori, about the reviews before we signed the contract, and were assured that they were simply sour grapes on the part of a few, and that they had taken care of everything... After what we experienced first hand, I believe every single one of them. Our story: We contracted with them to re-finish our pool and deck. Part of what we paid for is to have 1500 square feet of decking to be installed. But when they sent the material to start the decking, they didn't send enough decking to finish the job - just 1380 square feet was delivered. This same tile was to be used for both the decking and the coping, so what they should have delivered was at least 1815 square feet to finish the job. Then they claimed that in order for them to bring enough tile to finish the job, we had to pay for any material over 1500 square feet - AT FULL INSTALL PRICE PER SQUARE FOOT - making us responsible for the standard calculation/addition for cuts and waste that was said to have been included in their price. I've never heard of a company that charges for the cuts/waste portion of a tile job - nor is it stated in the contract that we are responsible for it. This is the fourth pool we've built, the fourth house we've remodeled, so we know that it's standard business practice to allow for cuts and waste. When confronted, the owner, Pat, who was quick to pick up checks, but never returned phone calls., yelled at me that "I shouldn't have to pay to make your back yard look good" Uh, isn't that exactly what WE PAID THEM TO DO?! By the way, even though they came out twice before signing the contract, and measured the deck both times - they never actually took the time to figure out exactly how large our deck was so they "guestimated" (their word) that our deck would be less than 1500 square feet. We've sent them diagrams, and google earth maps showing how big the space is. Heck, I even went so far as to use graph paper to chart out exactly the measurements of the deck, and count up the boxes to show the deck is only 1425 square feet. AND they sent two people out again to measure the deck after all this started, and THEY agreed that the deck is 1425 sqft! So, they owe US money back - not the other way around. But Pat refuses to budge. I guess since he has our money, he doesn't care that they won't finish the job. I don't know how they have been in business as long as they have if this is how they write their contracts, and then not honor them as written. As of today, almost two months after they began what was supposed to take three weeks to finish, our pool is ripped up, the work on it not completed, including a $2000 repair to a crack down the side of the pool. The deck is unfinished - and the materials they used are substandard with chips and cracks in 35% of the pieces. They walked off the job about a month ago, and won't return unless we pay them an additional $2400. In desperation, we offered to pay for 1/2 of what they were demanding, even though it is not our responsibility per our contract, and they just kept repeating that we had to pay for anything over 1500 feet of material at full install cost. We will now have to hire two new companies to finish the job. One company to repair what they left broken and busted, and plaster the pool, and one company to finish and repair/replace what they left undone and unacceptable on the deck. It will cost us 3 times as much to finish what is left because no company wants to clean up someone else's mess and take on that liability. We've paid them for everything except the last payment (so, everything except for $1200 on a more than $30,000 contract), so to court we will go to get our money back, and recoup the cost of getting the job finished. I'm making sure to hit ALL the review websites because I only saw the a few reviews when I was doing my due diligence. Since this all started, I've found tons of bad reviews on many other websites. I don't want anyone to experience the powerless feeling we have now that they have all our money - and we still don't have a pool. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. We hired Anything Wet Pools and Spa to build a pool and spa in our backyard. We appreciated their attention to detail and quality of work. Our pool and hot tub turned out better then we imagined!
