We visited Avanti looking for soapstone and could not have been happier with the experience. Bill was terrific and spent all the time we needed to make an informed decision and we never felt pressured. The stone, itself, is gorgeous and we are thrilled with how it looks in our kitchen. Highly recommend.

Excellent selection of beautiful marble and granite slabs. They were very accommodating and knowledgeable. I had an appointment and they prepared by already having many slabs on display that fit my desired color scheme. They graciously used their heavy equipment to move a slab so I could see it out in the natural light outside too. Clearly they are experts.

Yesterday, we met with Jackie who showed us the slab room-- a bit of a dream for me! She was so easy to work with, quickly identified what we liked and sought out additional slabs that might be to our liking, and addressed our concerns about maintenance of marble. It goes with out saying that their marble is amazeballs. I've been to 15-20 places looking for a counter that could give me a bright, luxury and elegant look for my island. I found nothing I truly loved. Jackie easily helped me narrow down my favorite slabs to four.

We visited their showroom not knowing an appointment was preferred. However, they welcomed us warmly and quickly took us on a tour of their warehouse. They had just received a new shipment of granite and unloaded it that morning. We found exactly what we wanted and they quickly tagged it for us and it next appeared at The Granite Guys in Hagerstown. We were extremely pleased with our visit and highly recommend Avanti for your granite needs.

I have been searching for honed marble for my kitchen for 5 months. I traveled to all the big warehouses in Baltimore, DC and Va and not only could I not find what I was looking for, I was not impressed with the customer service I received anywhere. I was so lucky to find Jackie at Avanti. She knew just what I wanted and found it for me. During fabrication (not with Avanti) my beautiful stone cracked (twice!) Avanti was great about finding my additional slabs that would go with the stone that had already been fabricated. Very kind, a great memory and very professional. So glad I found Avanti!

Bill Werder of Avanti Marble and Granite of Frederick, Maryland is amazing!! We are redoing our kitchen and were looking for a specific marble for our counter tops. Our builder had us start with a fabricator and then the fabricator gave us a list of Marble/Granite suppliers to pick out our slabs. Because we are doing our whole kitchen, butlers pantry and laundry room, we were not able to use remnants. I started to drive around from supplier to supplier looking at marble slabs-- I knew exactly what I wanted couldn't seem to find it. The suppliers were showing me slabs that were too "veiny" and busy or too gray and kept trying to talk me into something I didn't want. It wasn't until I spoke with Bill Werder of Avanti Marble & Granite that I finally was able to put a name to the Carrara Marble that I wanted. He is a wealth of knowledge and took the time to help me!!! He is obviously an expert in his field-- he not only knows about marble & granite but was also so insightful to the different types of finishes--acid washing vs. honing-- pros and cons etc.... Bill takes the time to explain everything and is so kind and thoughtful!!!! I would highly recommend Bill Werder at Avanti Marble & Granite! He is a breath of fresh air in this business!

A very professional and competent group of employees. They were very helpful in working with my schedule and showing me a great selection of granite slabs. They even suggested that I wait on selecting my slabs until the next shipment of my preferred granite came in. They thought it would be a better lot. They called me promptly when it arrived and I selected two great slabs.

The people at Avanti are the best. They are very knowledgeable of the products they sell and very helpful in answering all my questions. The business is very professional which makes the experience of working with them easy and enjoyable. I will definitely go back to them for more.

Avanti Marble and Granite offers excellent customer service. Bill was very informative about the marble and granite and very patient and helpful throughout our decision process. Avanti is a smaller distributer with beautiful stone. Customer service is more personalized. I highly recommend Avanti.

They were very helpful as soon as I arrived. They helped me select a travertine slab to match my sinks for our custom vanities for our master bathroom.
