Barrett Floors

We purchased a 2nd home in Prescott 3 years ago and had Barrett Floors install our carpet, tile and granite kitchen countertop. They did an outstanding job! Since we are only here on the weekends, the work had to be done when we weren’t home. Christopher was patient with us and even texted us pictures during the install when he had a question on the tile around the fireplace. We were so happy with his work we have referred him to several of our friends. Recently, we had Barrett Floors install almost 700 sq ft of engineered hardwood throughout our house along with up our stairs. I have never seen such perfection on a wood floor installation before. I am not exaggerating when I say every cut is perfect and the attention to detail is amazing! He said that he was sending out his top installer, Gary because he knew we were very particular. He sure did! Too notch all the way! We are so happy beyond our expectations on how beautiful the floors look and it was a pleasure to work with Christopher and his crew at Barrett Floors again. I definitely would recommend them to a friend in the future as we have done in the past not only for their outstanding work but also for their very reasonable pricing.

Not a good experience, will not recommend this company. Installation of 800+ sq ft took 5 days finishing on a Friday afternoon. Everybody took off and no supervisor/quality assurance to make sure everything was good to go. Two holes left in wall from removing baseboard. Chips left in baseboard. Nailheads showing in all baseboards and caulk missing in several areas. The men sent to remediate these problems weren't supervised or checked on either. At least 3 lbs of saw dust left on my deck and cigarette butts scattered around. Dirt, dust and glue left on floor kind of ruins the reveal of your $10,000 new wood floor.

Christopher Barrett and his team repaired our Prescott home. They were referred to me by a colleague at work who had hired them with excellent results. We experienced a flood that required extensive renovations. Christopher provided us with expert advise on all facets of the repair process and restored our home beautifully. As a result of their skills and excellence in craftsmanship we had them manage other projects in our home, including a completely renovated "contemporary" bathroom. Their team was highly professional. We will additionally use Barrett Floors to work on several new projects as we approach retirement and spending a lot more time at home enjoying the benefits of "HOUZZ BEAUTIFUL".
