I LOVE our new kitchen. I changed my mind several times during the design process and the communication was great. We ran into a little snag and they got it fixed the following day. Couldn’t recommend Bearded Builders enough!

We hired Bearded Builders to complete a large project in our home. It consisted of two full bathrooms, as well as a redo of our masters suite, including building a small room. The project started off great, and I was impressed by the professionalism displayed by Eric and his team during the initial bid process. Overall I am moderately satisfied with the work, relative to the value and cost. Bearded Builders has top and contractor prices, so I expected corresponding service from start to finish. Unfortunately there were some bumps along the way that have clouded our experience. We live in a 100 year old home, and certain aspects of the job were challenging. I appreciated their eagerness and desire to take things on, and the team was enjoyable to work with through much of the initial planning process. We had just finished the design for our first bathroom remodel, and the designer we were working with left the company. The transition was very shaky, and we were then presented with a brand new and very green, seemingly an experienced designer that was brand new to the company. I felt the experience was more me guiding her and seeking answers to questions that she was not able to help with. When it came time to make selections, I was not confident in her help or abilities which resulted in some bad selections that impacted the project negatively. I should have walked away at that point, but we had already signed a contract and made payments so were invested in moving forward. Then it came time to design the second bathroom. The designer was clueless on many design aspects. In hindsight I wish I would have pushed back more because I am less than satisfied with some of the design aspects. I assumed she knew what she was doing, but her lack of experience shows in our end result. Their our multiple design aspects in our second bathroom that she designed that I wish we had received better advice on. The other key challenge I experienced was after the work wrapped up. It was challenging to get the team to finish up final trailing pieces of work. Also, within the contract there is a year long guarantee on all work. It took me six weeks of emailing Eric before he responded and got someone to our job site to look at issues we were experiencing. There is still one significant outstanding issue, and Eric has not returned my emails for weeks. I will say that for our first bathroom where we worked with the more experienced designer — I am super pleased with the end result and design. I wish that level of design expertise would have continued. Bearded builders definitely has some talented craftsman on their team. I think some of my experience and the challenges I’ve shared here are possibly due to them taking on too much work and attempting to grow too quickly. Eric definitely knows what he’s doing — I just think things were poorly managed.

Bearded Builders recently finished renovating our bathroom and every single aspect of the project was excellent. From the consultation to the design help to the conclusion of the project, they were on time, on budget, and the quality of both the personnel and the work was incredible. BB will be my first call for any kitchen/bath project I have in the future!

My husband and I have lived in our home for over 10 years. We loved the neighborhood, but the kitchen and bathroom were a little more than underwhelming. When we set out to complete an entire main floor remodel we interviewed several contractors before deciding on Bearded Builders. Eric and Sydney recently designed and remodeled 2 of our bathroom. Zach was the project manager. The work was top notch, on budget and on time. Communication was flawless. There were no surprises. We loved working with them and would recommend them highly.

We moved back to Omaha and bought this house with the idea of renovating the basement. We had an idea of what we wanted but didn't quite know how to do it. We received a recommendation to talk to Bearded Builders. Eric and Sydney came out to check out what we wanted to do and got an idea of where to go. We did the bid meeting and were completely blown away, they blew it out of the water! They have the most amazing team of guys that are super talented and very fast. The sub-contractors were top of the line as well, we have very specific ideas for what we wanted and they went out of their way in order to make sure we got what we wanted. Eric and his bearded crew were excellent craftsman! Even the city inspector said he’d never seen a better framed structure in our framed basement. Always on-time, great with follow-up and superb time-management. Our roof was re-shingled in one day, and our basement was finished way ahead of time. Love our tiled shower! An honest and high-quality business.

Eric and his team completely gutted and re-arranged our master bathroom in 2017. Our bathroom is now functional! Every attention to detail was made.

Major Project - 1968 era Multilevel home with a living room, galley style kitchen, and a small formal dining room on the main level. Knocked down walls. Vaulted the ceiling. Build a great room with kitchen and dining area. Huge island with granite counter tops. Gas fireplace. Hardwood floors throughout. New cabinets. New appliances. Moved kitchen location. Found a few "surprises" hiding behind the walls and ceiling during the demolition phase and brought up to code. Bearded Builders provided well designed options. They charge for their design and credit it back to the project, and that is well worth it. Even though it was a construction zone, they cleaned it every day before they left. Project took about 4 months. Staff was very professional and my dog thought the staff were new additions to the family. I would definitely hire them again, and likely will for our upcoming bathroom project.

Eric and his talented team helped us turn an under-used downstairs storage area into a beautiful new bathroom suite. The collaboration process was quite fun, with an exchange of ideas that went from thoughts to paper, to process, to the beautiful end result. Their work on our Kitchen and Basement remodel completely changed the way we live. Our family of 5 gathers around the kitchen island every morning, and we share time together eating breakfast and reading. The basement is not only beautiful, it’s not scary anymore. Ha! • We find ourselves playing down there, • having movie night, • and using that bathroom as our main bathroom because we love it so much. Everyone associated with Bearded Builders did a great job on my house. They were easy to work with, great at communication, and prompt. The best example: when a subcontractor couldn’t complete some finishing work for a couple weeks, the lead carpenter Josh came over and did it himself.

Bearded Builders finished a complete overhaul of our basement several months ago, creating a media room, master bedroom/bathroom, and a laundry room. We needed new plumbing, furnace and AC as well. To add to the mix, our older home had a low basement ceiling and a very uneven floor, so there were definitely some “challenges” along the way. Donnie, Marcus, Scott and Luke were so good about coming up with solutions to make things work out like we wanted them; you can tell that they truly care that their customers are happy with the end product. Every person that we worked with on the job was friendly and easy to work with; they went above and beyond make the process easier on our family. (Seriously, these guys moved and hooked up our washer and dryer countless times at 4:00 on a Friday so I could do laundry on the weekend! TY!) And at the close of the project, we felt like Eric and crew went above and beyond in their customer service. When it’s time to start on our kitchen, they will be the first call we make!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and family room fireplace with Bearded Builders. Our experience from day one was stellar. Eric and Michaela really listened to us and helped us determine our needs and a style that was uniquely ours. We can't speak highly enough of our team, Scott and Luke. We have used this builder for two large projects. Complete rebuild of Master Bathroom and latest was a ceiling to floor rebuild of our Kitchen. What a company of people. Totally professional yet very casual and easy to talk with. Finished the job on time and stayed within budget. their work was exceptional, the builders Josh and John were friendly, very competent, and fun to be around. They will share good ideas with you if asked, and they listen to your concerns if any. they don't volunteer unwanted suggestions. Eric, the owner is one of the most fairest and honest people you will find. Their designer is top notch and easy to work with. Receptionist is very pleasant and efficient. Give these folks a call, They will be back in the future for a basement project for us. there are other crews besides Josh and John and while we have not used them I am confident that they will match Josh and John's results. J & J loved our 3 Shelties, always had time for a scratch. Amazing people, great things happened when strategically placed Blueberry Muffins magically appeared.

They did our kitchen remodel and it turned out great! They worked in a timely manner and were very clean and neat at the end of the day! We were very satisfied with their work!

Bearded Builders made our house a forever home through a fairly massive kitchen / bathroom overhaul. They redesigned the space to make sense for our family, give us more room and make our space ultra organized! They were WONDERFUL to work with and so much fun to be around. We used Bearded Builders to renovate our unfinished attic into a master suite. From bid to completion, we thoroughly enjoyed working with Eric, Kevin, Josh and the rest of the Bearded Builders. From our initial bid to start date took almost a year, we had quite a few twists and turns w/ architects, engineers, etc., and Eric stayed with us and adjusted his bids to fit the project and our needs. Ultimately our space turned out just the way we wanted it. Our attic remodel turned into a beam and posts in the basement, structural work on all floors of our house, tedious support work in the attic, but it was all in capable hands. Kevin was great to work with as he managed our project. Josh was excellent as lead craftsman and endured my never ending questions. Josh added great character to our space w/ custom doors and shelves made from the original attic flooring. We had our fair share of snags through the process, but as I said earlier, we enjoyed the process and love the end result. Our home was built in 1910 and one of our goals was to have the new space look old. Eric got this vision from us from the beginning and his team delivered. We've had friends/family tell us that even though the space feels new, the attic feels "old". Custom baseboards, two newel posts that match the one in our living room and attention to detail all helped create the look we wanted. We highly recommend Bearded Builders and are hoping to have them back to do more work for us in the future. Some before and during photos below. Bearded Builders was a great contractor to deal with. Very prompt with responses/questions. Cleaned up well after their work days. They did a complete kitchen remodel, turned out great.

We worked with Bearded Builders to re-do the entire living area of our house. They removed the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and living room. they completely gutted the kitchen, reworked some plumbing, and installed all the kitchen cabinets. They also added recessed lighting in the kitchen and family room, as well as additional ceiling and under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen. They even helped us update and fix electrical wiring and outlets, as well as added an outlet on our back deck. We thought this was a very difficult project, however, they made it look easy. The crew and subcontractors were all very polite and pleasant to be around. Donny was our main guy at the site, and he was fantastic. He seemed to really care about the quality of work and getting things done in a timely manner.

We loved working with the Bearded Builders. We were most impressed by the hours they worked in our home each day, usually 8-5 or longer, as long as the work they were doing allowed it. Compared to others we know, this is unheard of. They were also very professional and responsive, and we love the finished product so much.

We needed our master bathroom redone in an old house and the BB gutted our bathroom down to the studs in an old house and finished the project in 5 weeks without any major delays. The staff was excellent and paid attention to little details to make sure we got what we wanted. They were awesome and we would hire them again.

Bearded builders did a fantastic job changing the pitch of our 2800 sq ft ranch home from a 2/12 pitch to a breathtaking 6/12 pitch. They were wonderful to work with, esprcially Dustin. Professional, conscientious,knowledgeable and on time and on budget. A neighbor remarked, "i dont know what you spent but it looks like a million bucks" . I would definately recommend this comany!

I could not be happier with the work bearded Builders did on my extensive upstairs bathroom "install". The guys Eric had work my project were all top notch, professional and friendly to boot. BB was very accommodating and attentive to my requests. In the end, Eric & I sat down for a good feedback session and got the impression he {Eric) strived to make his business the best it could be. Eric and team were awesome to work with on the addition of a bathroom to my home. They were very professional and respectful of my home during construction. I had a great experience with Beardedbuilders remodeling our master bathroom. They listened to my needs and then carried them out. They were friendly but got the job done. They cleaned up after themselves, along with respecting my home. We removed a tub from the bedroom and put in a no entry shower that has a bench along with a linen closet in the bathroom.

We are so pleased with the work that was done in our bathroom. It was completely redone and looks great. The guys who came everyday were wonderful. They were professional, and kept us informed about the work. They turned a job we were dreading into a pleasant experience. We hired Bearded Builders to redo the flooring on our first story. They ripped out tile, carpeting, and vinyl flooring and replaced it with a radiant heat tile floor. The crew was wonderful to work with. Our house was clean (well, as much as you can expect!) each evening when they left, and they arrived on time every morning. The craftsmanship was great, and when we noticed a small problem after the job had been finished the crew was back the next morning to make it right. We plan to hire them again to redo our master bath and would recommend them to anyone!

Bearded builders did an excellent job with our bathroom renovation (Lakeside on their home page). They came in on time & on budget and executed our vision exactly. We were even away on a trip for part of the renovation and Eric was able to work with us over the phone keeping the project on track. When there were complications (a pipe in the wall that was in our way) Eric was quick to explain the issue and offered solutions and pricing options. They kept the work area clean and delivered in every way. We will most certainly call Bearded Builders when we are ready for our master bath renovation. This was one of our first experiences using a contractor and the experience was wonderful. No more DIY renovations for me; I'm calling the Beards! Bearded Builders completely transformed our kitchen from straight out of the 50's to modern and sleek. Everyone that sees our beautiful kitchen is in awe of the transformation. Bearded Builders remodeled our main bathroom. It was easy working with Eric beforehand to finalize the project details. They did the work while we were out of town and the result was just what I wanted. They gutted the bathroom, installed new tile on floor, installed a tub, installed tile in shower/tub, installed vanity and granite countertop, added light fixture and heat vent, added shelving, reset toilet, and painted. They were respectful and mindful of the rest of the house while making a "mess" grinding the floor. We are using Bearded Builders again this fall for another project. You will not regret your decision to hire Eric and his crew. Excellent service, excellent work, and Eric is wonderful to work with.

We had a rough-in for a bathroom in our laundry room. We had an idea of how we wanted the new bathroom to look, and the Bearded Builders did exactly what we wanted, and had even more great ideas. We're thrilled with the way it turned out. They worked fast, and were very easy to work with.

I hired Eric at Bearded Builders to do several remodel projects for our company. His attention to detail and job site cleanliness go a long ways with our customers. Eric did a remodel of our master bath last year, and we were very pleased with his work. We needed an update on our bathroom in order to sell our house, and we weren't absolutely sure what we wanted to do. Eric had some wonderful ideas and helped us come up with a plan. He was able to work within our budget, even finding some ways that we could save money. He basically re-did the entire bathroom, including new tile shower, toilet, and tile floor. The end result was BEAUTIFUL...in fact, we wished we had done it many years before. He had some challenges with the cheaper tile we picked, but he overcame those challenges, and as I said, the end result was beautiful and professional. Eric was great to work with, worked quickly and efficiently, and finished the project in the time promised. Several months after the project, we put our house on the market and sold it in 8 days. I would highly recommend Eric and the Bearded Builders.
