Established in 1993, we specialize in creating custom window treatments which are fabricated in our own workroom. Fabrics from international textile designers, decorative hardware, wallpapers, trims and custom upholstery services are all available along with a wide array of blinds, SHUTTERS and solar shades. Windows of Montclair, Inc. has a passion to work with you to bring your personal expression to life through your home's decor and custom window treatments. Our owner, Bonnie Quern, is a design and fabrication professional that has been featured in the Junior League of Montclair-Newark's Show House & Gardens show, New York Spaces™ magazine, and Window Fashions™ magazine. Put her amazing work in your home by contacting us today. Brian is a certified installer of INTERIOR SHUTTERS and an outstanding carpenter. Brian is able to create a completely integrated look for any type of shutter configuration and installation and works fluidly with Bonnie's designs. All of our custom fabricated work is performed in our combined workroom/design studio located in Essex County. For the past 20 years, Windows of Montclair, Inc. has been rewarded by taking on a variety of creative challenges to impress our customers. Windows of Montclair, Inc. is a superb drapery workroom. We worked with Bonnie from our Florida Interior Design location for a entire home in New Jersey and the installation was flawless. The workmanship was BEAUTIFUL as such care was given to fabrication of each fabric type.... measurements were perfectly taken and communication between us was paramount with Bonnie. She was involved in the installation, overseeing and dressing the draperies and shades. How nice to work with a PRO and someone so dedicated to making a client so very pleased.

Bonnie and Windows of Montclair are the best! The quality of work, the attention to detail and the installation make the process of custom window coverings a breeze. Bonnie is there every step of the way, including supervision of the installation. It really takes the pressure off of me as the designer to know I can count on Bonnie and WOM as a preferred vendor for all custom draperies, wood blinds and roller shades. Bonnie also can supply curtain and drapery hardware which also makes everything so much easier for me. I contact Bonnie when I need to get something replaced or refurbished in my home. Recently, I contacted Bonnie for help in having my dining room chairs restored. She has an incredible list of people in the industry who are superb in their field. The dining room chairs look absolutely fabulous. Also, I reached out to Bonnie for help in replacing a carpet. Once again, she exceeded my expectations and the room looks incredible. In the past, Bonnie has helped me pick and choose fabric and style for my draperies. She is my “go to” person for anything related to a decorative idea.

It was a pleasure to work with Bonnie. Originally I hired her for a small job and I ended up having treatments done for 6 rooms. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely good at capturing her client's taste. She is also a perfectionist, which in this business is a plus; she reordered (expensive) blinds for one room three times because they kept coming in with different issues. Phil, her installer, is also a joy to work with, very neat and very professional too. Her final work is precise, of great quality and looks beautiful. I could not be happier with her finished products and would highly recommend Windows of Montclair to anyone.

It was a joy to work with Bonnie. She is professional, communicates well and is timely with her work. Originally I was just ordering blinds. She was so efficient and reliable with that project I proceeded to hire her to do several window treatments. Her work is impeccable with great attention to detail. Bonnie listens to your needs and tunes into your style. She brought over the the latest fabric books to choose from according to my needs, so each visit was very productive. Her installers are courteous and capable. I will definitely hire Windows of Montclair again!

The window treatment more than met our expectations. The quality of the workmanship and the fabric selection blended in with the artwork in our home. The room being small needed as much light as possible to give the room the appearance of being larger and lighter. The timeframe was perfect we were able to have the treatment installed within days of returning from a winter trip. We are very pleased with this project and look forward to another project soon.
