Our experience with Ray Egan at boss design was great. He completely re designed the exterior of our 28 year old house making it look as if it was built this year. We were offered 3 different renderings and all were exceptional. We chose one and were able to manipulate colours and textures to get the look we were after. We will recommend boss design to all our friends and couldn't be happier with their work.

I finally found a company that could put on paper what I envisioned and more! Boss Home Designs pays close attention to the exterior look of the home ensuring that it is a stunning home that you can be proud to live in. On the inside, they help create a floor plan that works for the way you live; a functional back entry, proper sized closets, windows in all the right places, spacious bathrooms - whatever your wish list they make it work. I am extremely happy with my finished home.

Boss Design designed our new home and we could not be more impressed with the design and the process. They easily incorporated all our wishes into a highly beautiful, yet functional, home design. They were professional, and the whole process from start-to-finish was smooth and flawless. My husband and I would highly recommend them.

We hired Boss to design a 1500 sq ft bungalow for us, that we could build for $400,000. We are not professional builders, so we relied on Boss's expertise. They came back with a plan that was 2000 sq ft. It was beautiful, no doubt. Can we build this this for $400,000? Yes! they responded, maybe $450.000. We took the final plans to builders. Estimates came back from $750,000 to $850,000! So we went back and told them we couldn't use the plans we had paid $7500 for- the house was too expensive for us to build. They blamed us, because we approved the final plan. They claimed it was not their responsibility to know how much things cost- that was our responsibility. So they charged us even more to redo the plans! They sent us a new floor plan that was 1700 sq ft. We sent that out to builders. This time it came back as $350,000-$450.000. Ok- so we got those plans finalized and sent them out again to the builders for estimates. The costs came back at $577,000- $700,000! The builders said that extra costs were in the engineering and elements that may not be apparent when we sent the floor plan- oversized windows, complex roof lines, dormers everywhere etc. So we ended up paying $8500 for 2 house plans we cannot use! Overall, working with BOSS was very disappointing. We never even received printed plans, or saw a 3D version of our plan. We only received an email of the final draft. That's its. We are now in the process of trying to find someone else to design a house for us- one that fits our budget. If money is no object, by all means hire Boss. But if you are on a budget- even if its a big budget, find someone else to design your house- someone who understands construction costs and respects your budget.

I have enjoyed working with BOSS Design on client projects over the past couple of years. We have collaborated on house designs for my client's custom homes. Their team is excellent to work with, each one brings knowledge, diversity and experience to the design process. BOSS Design is an asset to my business, I look forward to working on more projects together.

Great plans and ideas - they are able to take a concept and turn into a working drawing. I am a homebuilder who has used them for several years now and have had many happy customers who love their homes!
