I work with each of my residential clients very closely to make sure that their home is a true reflection of their style and the way that they like to live. For me, home is a place that should be both beautiful to look at and easy to live in. My experience of 20+ years and my background in architecture allows me the insight necessary to pay close attention to each project's intricate nature - leaving no design stone unturned! Discussions with the client provide the corner stone of how I approach each project. The enjoyment of finding new materials and products enriches the design and gives the client the confidence that they are choosing the latest and the best to suit their budget. I hold a firm belief that the spaces I create should be functional, serene environments in which you can live and work. There is no charge for an initial meeting. From the original blank-page space-planning through to the finest final details, working with Bridget was a joy. She is supremely professional, creative and has a fantastic depth of interiors knowledge. We both learned a lot about what can and can't be done on a boat, while also pushing the boat builder into totally new territory.

Bridget helped us enormously with some thoughts and ideas relating to a re-fresh of our kitchen and living space . So when we decided to completely update and create a new bathroom in our Grade 2 listed cottage she was the 'go to' professional to help . Her grasp of our desire to be bold and different was immediate and she provided us with a really imaginative and inspired proposal . The scheme was a real 'wow' solution . The implementation and management of the project was first class and her help throughout was invaluable . Camilla and Paul .

James Lee Landscape Design

We've worked with Bridget on three projects ranging from a beautiful Country house to the extensive renovation of a classic London townhouse. Bridget has a superb eye for creating really distinctive spaces and has the ability to identify and combine stand out pieces with beautifully crafted hand made features. Bridget also has that essential ability to form very strong relationships with her Clients, evident by how regularly she has been asked to work with a Client again on new projects having previously designed their past home. Bridget is also always researching new trends, attending design shows and exhibitions, and her work evolves to reflect the time she puts into this kind of research. She is also extremely professional not only with her Clients, but also with the contractors that she works with, and always manages to maintain a serene calmness during the project.

Sevenoaks Project

We wanted a refresh/make over of our entry, staircase, living room, and dining room. We also wanted to move quickly. Bridget gently and expertly helped us through the various stages of the project: initial design concepts, detailed design, selection of colours, finishes etc and sourcing materials and furnishings. Most importantly, Bridget was able to suggest a range of excellent contractors who were timely and expert and who met all the deadlines. We very much enjoyed working with Bridget and recommend her services.

Bridget Reading provided external and internal architectural designs, plans and advice for a major refurbishment of our family home. Bridget really listened to what we wanted the outcome to be and our own design ideas. She made constructive, informed challenges to those thoughts, suggested enhancements and significantly improved on our original ideas. Bridget also helped us select colours, finishes, furnishings, fixtures and fittings and the best suppliers to help us deliver a great finished product that has exceeded our expectations. I had the pleasure to photograph one of Bridgets projects, the Edwardian house renovation, and we worked together on the day to style the shoot. She was a joy to work with, friendly and knowledgable with great taste, and you could tell she had a great relationship with the home owner too. She had obviously understood her clients needs and design requirements and translated them into a beautiful home. She made the day fun and fruitful and I look forward to more shoots to come. I would of course recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer.

We worked with Bridget on one of her designs for a lovely apartment in New York. It was a treat to collaborate with her and come up with visualizations of the beautiful and chic apartment. Her designs have simplicity and clarity, this makes them stand out from the rest. Her bespoke interiors breath a sense of elegance and pure luxury into her client’s homes. Bridget worked with us recently on a redecoration project for our home and from the beginning was very in tune with our ideas. She very quickly constructed mood boards and gave some really excellent ideas to complement our own and was great at sourcing materials, fixtures and fittings etc showing an in-depth knowledge of her skills as a designer.
