A friend recommended Bob when I told him I was thinking about building a custom home following retirement. I was anxious about the entire process of building a custom home when we lived five hours away. After our first conversation Bob offered a clear road map of the journey ahead which began a satisfying relationship with Bob, Kathy and Michelle. I can't say enough about the quality craftsmen he has on his team. We wanted a "green home" which netted us a geo-thermal system, LED lighting and many other energy savings included in the design and construction. Pictures from Houzz assisted us in communicating with Bob some features in our home including build-ins in our Great Room and the unique tub and walk- in shower in our Master Bath. No question we asked was ever dismissed out of hand. He offered alternatives that saved space and gave us a larger pantry, master bath and below ground storage that matched with the slope of our lot. Each email or phone call were instantly addressed. We are exceedingly pleased with our new home. Without hesitation I would recommend BVH Construction services

Bob, his entire team and sub contractors were fantastic from start to finish. We chose BVH construction because of the professional, sincere personalities of his team. Kathy was great in helping us select flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, cabinets and counter tops, Martin was a great forman and made sure we were well informed and helped us make construction decision that weren't necessarily in the plans, and Michelle always made sure we knew exactly where we were in the budget process, which eliminated any possible surprises. We just knew they were going to build us a quality house that we would be proud of throughout our retirement and they did. Bob recommended a designer that was great in putting together our wish list for our dream home, then proposing the original construction design. Once the design was completed Bob went over it and made recommendations based on his many years of experience building new homes, we're glad we listened to him and the designer. Regardless of what phase of construction we were in, we always felt well informed of the reasoning behind the process. This was important as we lived 600 miles away during the construction. We were constantly being updated with photos, which was always exciting. During the process we got to meet and work with all of BVH's sub-contractors, what a first class group. Whether you were picking out cabinets, plumbing fixtures, lighting, appliances, heating/AC systems, flooring, granite, completing walk-thoughs with electricians and desigining the yard, each person wanted to make sure you had exactly what you wanted at costs we were always comfortable with. This was our first custom built home and we're extremely thankful that we found and hired BVH Construction. We have highly recommended them to our friends that will be starting construction in the next couple of months. They have told us that they have decided to hire BVH as well. I'm confident that they too will be thankful they went with BVH.

BVH just completed a Down-to-the-studs remodel of a 55-year old ranch style house. The result is spectacular. This project was on a very aggressive timeline, which was met beautifully. Communication, attention to detail, budget awareness and orchestration of the project management were all excellent. We always knew exactly where things stood and why. In addition, the ingenuity at finding cost effective solutions for an older home was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

We recently moved into our custom home, built by BVH construction, in 2013. There were a number of recommended and qualified builders in the area, but what made BVH stand apart to us, was that they guide you through the shopping process of line items, such as cabinets, lighting, flooring, etc, and you start off with a dollar figure very close to the final, rather than getting an "allowance" and having surprises come mid-build. This helped us, in that we were over budget when we selected our products, and were able to sit down and make adjustments before a shovel hit the ground. The result is a home with most of the amenities we hoped for, and the style and finishes we desired. Along with this, communication with them is smooth and efficient, and they were able to handle any problems as they arose, and with a calm that was amazing in light of some of the issues. We have said over and over how having BVH as our contractors opened many doors that we could not have done on our own. A small family owned business with great poise and work ethic. We have been in our home since Oct 2013, and are pleased that we chose BVH to build it.
