Camilla helped us plan and execute the redesign and redecoration of our apartment’s open plan living/kitchen area to create practical and beautiful rooms. Camilla worked to understand the space and our preferences before presenting a practical design and then introduced a combination of lighting, textures, colours and furnishings to create a truly unique space. Camilla’s careful planning, responsiveness, enthusiasm and creativity made her easy to work with through all stages of the project. Camilla had the additional challenge of managing the execution of our project as the COVID-19 lockdowns were imposed, eased and imposed again. We highly recommend Camilla and look forward to working with her again.

Our “Master Bedroom makeover” by Camilla is stunning. Camilla begins with a thorough consultation, ascertaining our objectives and personal taste, then builds on that with her unique sense of style and flair. The combination of fabrics, textures and furnishings have resulted in a visually beautiful bedroom that evokes serenity and calm. We love it! She is absolutely gorgeous to work with. Flexible, responsive and enthusiastic. Highly recommended!

Camilla has worked on a number of projects for me. I was really impressed with how she listened and questioned to thoroughly understand the brief and then came back with additional ideas that really complemented and built on what I was after. Her ideas ensured that I had truly bespoke rugs and bedheads in my home that she had designed personally. Changes were always accommodated quickly and I appreciated the fact that when an idea that I had would not have worked as well she guided towards what colour palette would and the outcomes were terrific. The trades teams that she works with were fantastic and I couldn't speak highly enough of them. She personally oversees every aspect and nothing was ever too much trouble

Camilla has a great eye for style - bold but sophisticated. She is able to conceptualise an entire project so that everything is unique but well integrated. She has a small army of upholsterers, artisans, carpenters, electricians and furniture makers that she works with and co-ordinates all of the work so there is minimal disruption. No job is too big or too small and she is happy to work through the fine details with a particularly picky person like myself. Working with Camilla is a fun and creative experience.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Camilla. She has such a passion for interior design and this is reflected in the work that she does. I love that she can walk into a space and tell you straight away if something will work or not. The change to both our master and guest bedrooms was amazing! The colour/textiles/fabric that were used in both rooms have just made such a difference to the look and feel of the rooms. I would highly recommend Camilla and I look forward to working with her again when we renovate our bathrooms.

A few years ago I purchased a modern apartment which was all white, clean lines and very square. It had a load of natural light and I needed a design that reflected my love of colour but also stayed true to the apartment. Camilla Molders Design was the perfect choice: delivering a concept that made the apartment warm and colourful but not in an over the top way. I would never have been bold enough to mix red, burnt orange and pink but these colours run through my home and I couldn't be happier. My living room even appeared in a design magazine which was very exciting! If you are looking for someone to bring creative ideas to your home, listen to what you really love, and not force a certain style on you, Camilla Molders Design is the one.

Camilla provided our weatherboard house with the refresh it needed. She took time to listen, observe and ask questions before developing her ideas. The furniture, colour, fabric and furnishings she then created were magic. We are delighted with the final outcomes and highly recommend her.

Prior to employing Camilla, I had been stuck in 'choice overload' for many months. Camilla helped me to move forward with a stepwise-whole-house renovation. She encourages the use of high-quality local manufacturers, but has been very respectful of my budget and existing furniture. I am constantly impressed at Camilla's individualised style suggestions - there is nothing 'cookie cutter' about my rooms and I love looking at her other projects, seeing how different each of them is. I am so pleased to have Camilla's services and look forward to showing off my finished rooms via fancy-pants photos!

Camilla is the reason why everyone who walks into our home goes WOW over the detail. She heard what I asked for and found the colours, fabrics and products. Camilla's talent stretches to furniture design too, designing a coffee table just for us. Camilla was very professional, punctual and always available to discuss the project at hand. Her contacts in the industry were invaluable with the highest quality craftsmanship with Camilla inspecting most of the pieces personally. She kept within the budget too. I highly recommend Camilla for any interior styling. Go ahead, give her a call.

We bought an old cottage with a new extension and engaged Camilla to minimise the too-expensive-to-change kitchen look and provide colour in the original tiny sitting room. We now have a relaxed and welcoming look to the rear open plan area. What was an awkward transitional sitting room has transformed into a vibrant, cosy room. We love sitting there with the little fire going on drab wintry nights. Camilla's knowledge of fabrics, furniture and rug makers, was extensive. I never would have found the sofa fabrics by myself! We received detailed quotes and sketches and she even designed a beautiful rug. The man of the house was consulted throughout to ensure he'd be comfortable and the open plan area textiles work well with a family dog that sheds fur.

Camilla did a great job. She helped us find focus and clarity - which in the sea of design choices was just what we needed. We each have a pretty good eye, and clear ideas about what we like - Camilla helped marry these ideas and come up with a cohesive look that we both loved. She's worked with us in a number of capacities over the years. And each and very time we're both happy with the outcome. She's helped us purchase new furnishings, recover and revitalise existing pieces. She's helped us re-organise and position 'interior landscapes' to create even better spaces in our home. And most recently she helped us choose an external colour scheme for the outside of our house - which was a double storey terrace house, so no small project, small amount of paint, or small exposure to the street. It was a massive project with massive ramifications if we got it wrong or hated it in the end. It took many enormous swatches painted on the wall, viewed from 20m away, before the three of us were happy and finally put roller to wall, brush to iron work. And the outcome was spectacular! Our grand dame of a house got a fabulous contemporary, but completely fitting, colour scheme that revealed all her glory. Thanks in large part to Camilla

Working with Camilla was as enjoyable as the final result. I am property developer in the inner city region and Camilla work with us on interior and exterior design of our own extensive home renovation with a fantastic outcome. My wife and I were both very pleased. I was also impressed that Camilla could work with our difficult requirements and not force an 'off the shelf' design on us. I look forward to working with Camilla again soon.

I couldn't recommend Camilla Molders more highly as an interior decorator. From the start she involved us and worked more as a partner so I learned about interiors and we ended up with a really great result that reflects our taste but was way more beautiful than I could have come up with alone. She helped us decorate a bedroom and two different living rooms. Camilla is very creative and knows where to go find the perfect piece. She gets colour and her suggestions seem fresh but quite timeless (because she has her own style). She was a delight to work with because of her lovely personality, ability and work ethic.

We hired Camilla when we bought our 1970s house which needed a major face lift. Camilla was a life saver - she turned the process from daunting to exciting. She had wonderful ideas which fit with our vision and with the integrity of the house. She advised on everything from paint colour, light fittings, kitchen reno, furniture purchases, and also on what to leave and re-use to save us money. One of the best things about Camilla was the support she provided throughout the process. It wasn't just a short consultation, she was always there to provide ongoing advice, to be a sounding board and had an infectious enthusiasm which made the process a dream. She was also very reasonably priced, in fact I would say that anyone contemplating a renovation can't afford not to have a professional like Camilla on the team.
