Capital City Landscaping

Capital Landscaping & Maintenance was contracted to trim 4 ft from the top of my tree and to trim & shape a juniper in my front yard. I specifically told them that i wanted to maintain the secluded feel of my front yard & to continue hanging my hummingbird feeder on the front tree. What I got was all the lower limbs of my tree removed & a 4 foot gap between my juniper and arbovitae shrub. Now my neighbors can look into my yard and my hummingbird feeder is hung on a twig. When I called with my displeasure they did return to trim the top of my tree, as contracted. My invoice was reduced by $150 (in was $850) and was told that to offer any further discount would have the company "paing out of their own pocket". And I was told, "the limbs will grow back". The $150 discount will not even cover 2 arbovitaes to fill in the gap (the company told me cost to replace these would be $250 each). And while the limbs will grow back eventually, probably not in my lifetime- I'm 70 years old. So now this company wants to send me-a 70 years old woman on a fixed income to collections. Not a good company. Not a company that takes responsibility for their mistakes. This is a company that expects their customers to pay for their mistakes. Before and after photos attached.

Our fence is beautiful. Our neighbors have commented on how nice it looks and are planning to get their fences done by Capital City Landscaping. Workers were professional. It was done on time and on budget. I would hire them again.

Capital Landscaping did an excellent job for me at a very reasonable cost. We had a tree removed from right next to the house and they removed it without any damage to the house or landscape. We also had them remove a number of tree from the side of our house and trim a large laurel hedge. The workers were very responsive to any request that I had avoiding landscape and cleaning up everything before they left. I highly recommend them.

My recommendation is for my weekly yard maintenance service with Capital City Landscaping. I have been on a yearly contract with them for almost 2 years . Paying each month, even in the winter, made me a little nervous because I figured they wouldn't show up in that season since there is not really any yardwork to do then. I was pleasantly surprised that they come out faithfully every Friday to pick up any fallen twigs or small branches and blow off the walks and driveway to make things look neat. The workers are careful and ask what I want done each time. The price of $282.62 a month is based on the size of my yard. I am very happy with their service.
