Over the last year and a half, I've had the pleasure of working with Gary Carlson on several residential remodels & additions. Gary is wonderful to work with... personable, trustworthy and professional. As an Architect, I appreciate that Gary involves his subcontractors during the design phase to get early price estimates and expert advice, which gives everyone involved, including the homeowner, additional information when making decisions. I highly recommend Carlson Homes for any residential project.

Carlson Homs built our home in 2005 We appreciated the quality of initial build and enjoyed the process . The house stood the test of time with little to no cosmetic or mechanical or structural issues . So when we were looking to move and renovate we reached out to Gary He was able to meet a tight deadline and do an extensive Reno in a six month period Kitchen redo Master bath redo Flooring and paint and a few small structural changes He are very pleased with the results And grateful he was available to take on our project !

From our initial meeting with Gary Carlson, Carlson Homes Construction LLC, we felt the professionalism and integrity of the individual. This has been confirmed throughout our extensive renovation. Gary and all of his selected team of trades have proven to be professional, courteous and trustworthy. Gary has a well thought out process and method for success. It works because Gary has such a strong bond with the same team of trades working with him time and again. Clearly his professionalism and integrity provides him with this advantage. Having a detailed pre-job on-site meeting with all applicable trades and design team to inspect, review and understand the renovation expectations necessary so that each trade is able to provide Gary with a high level cost estimate works extremely well. With Gary’s confident and detailed project cost estimate we have a clear and better understanding and awareness to detailed costs and timing. Gary’s stewarding to these estimates was transparent throughout and any potential deviations plus or minus to the estimates was timely reviewed, considered and acted upon accordingly. It worked very well. We are so happy we were introduced to Gary and that we made our decision to go forward with him. We are happy with the process to complete the project and we are over the top with the results. We cannot think of anything that was not made right by Gary and his team. Always with an unwavering positive approach. We would do it again.

Nearly 4 years ago we purchased a home built by Carlson in 2005 and since then have enjoyed it very much and continue to receive rave reviews and compliments from anyone entering. My wife and I have known Gary for about 15 years. His team worked with us to design and build our new home in Desert Mountain, which was completed in 2006. It could not have been done any better. His people were first class and very easy to work with ... from architect to finisher. Every item was top quality. For example, the original paint job still looked good after 10 years of desert sun exposure. Perhaps most remarkable, Gary has been available to answer questions, make recommendations and work with us to fix any post-construction problems ... even 10 years later. We'll recommend his company to anyone who asks.

Undertaking a remodel while continuing to live in your home, can be a daunting experience, but I found that working with Gary Carlson as the contractor made the whole process run more smoothly. He has a diligent group of subcontractors that are not only good but trustworthy as well. Gary is very good about communicating with his clients about the cost and the timetable. He keeps the process moving and keeps you informed about who is coming and when. He seems unflappable in all situations which is a wonderful attribute to have since nothing goes right 100% of the time. If I were to undertake another project, he would certainly be the one I would call.

Gary Carlson did a great job renovating our kitchen and great room. We installed new countertops, buffet, appliances, lighting, and an engineered wood floor, and painted our existing cabinets. Gary hired very good subcontractors, oversaw their work closely, was present on the worksite almost every day, and completed the job on budget, on time and at a very competitive price, He is extremely knowledgeable about home construction, offered valuable suggestions along the way that improved the project, yet was sensitive to our desires, and was always very responsive whenever we needed to meet or talk. We're very pleased with the results. Highly recommended!

Complete kitchen remodel of 30 year old home. This included the replacement of flooring, cabinetry, appliances, lighting, baseboards, painting, and plumbing. Gary Carlson orchestrated this project to perfection from start to finish and it was seamless. His entire team was professional, detailed, personable and kept our home clean throughout the process. Bottom line: we are so pleased with the overall results. Our kitchen was transformed and it looks beautiful.
