Century Carpet is owned by husband and wife team, Jean & Christine Coutu. They have been in the flooring industry for over 30 years. Jean began learning the business and started installing flooring - before he even graduated high school. Then, with the help of his wife, Christine, he worked for many years as a flooring installer for local area stores. The couple eventually decided that the only way they could ensure the customer’s total satisfaction was to handle everything personally – from point of sale to final installation. With that goal in mind, on October 1st, 1986, Century Carpet was born. Jean & Christine have worked hard to build their business and their solid reputation. All three of their children were raised around the family business. Their oldest son, Brian, is now Century Carpet’s lead installer. As a result of working alongside his dad over the years, Brian’s exposure to different types of flooring and his knowledge of the mechanics behind the installations have grown and contributed to the professional installer that he is today. The staff at Century Carpet are friendly and knowledgeable. Andrea, the office manager, has been with the company since 2000. She takes care of the customers’ flooring needs, from sale to post installation. In the showroom you will meet Naomi, who coordinates the website and online profiles, and has been with the company since 2006. She will work alongside you to help you connect today's products with your specific project.
