Waterson Build is located in Rye on the Mornington Peninsula and is a family run residential and commercial construction business that specialise in architecturally designed, custom built and sustainable homes. The owner, Ryan Waterson has always wanted to build. It started with BMX jumps in his parent’s backyard and progressed to building and selling his first residential development in Bendigo before he was 21 years old. Ryan grew up crafting his trade on historical homes before relocating to Melbourne and working on architectural developments. Waterson Build began after a move to the Mornington Peninsula over ten years ago. Ryan obtained both his Domestic Builders Licence and Commercial Builders Licence and has established himself as a quality custom builder, known for his attention to detail and collaborative approach. Ryan personally works with his clients from the first consultation to final handover. Since building that first investment in Bendigo, Ryan has constructed and designed many homes on the Mornington Peninsula, developing a solid team of professionals and trades that work as a cohesive group. He is passionate about quality finishes and takes inspiration from contemporary coastal styles and working with sustainable, innovative materials. Ryan is a Registered Domestic and Commercial builder, qualified carpenter, concreter and a member of the HIA. A qualified Greensmart professional, Ryan can ensure your home is built using the most sustainable building techniques and help you achieve 6 star energy ratings. Waterson Build can also assist you in designing your home and we work with excellent design partners to take these initial concepts through to finished drawings.
