Aa a homebuilder in the area for over 25 years, we have worked with Claffey on numerous projects. They are always professional and attentive to our's and the homeowner's requests. When an issue or question requires attention they are prompt to offer remedies and answers. They are not the least expensive however as a homebuilder I have notice they never shy away from my requests to attend to job site matters. What a wonderful experience to work with Lori, Steve, and Woodrow in building our pool. From the design thru the construction stage to the pool school we were blessed. We have built two pools with Claffey and they have been excellent to work with. Our second project was a very complex job with uneven ground, correcting drainage issues and building retaining walls and additional outdoor seating areas. Claffey went above and beyond in making sure it was designed and executed correctly. Their subcontractors showed up on time and stayed late. Our neighbors even complimented us on how Claffey kept everything so tidy during such a huge project. Claffey has one of the best reputations in our area, and they live up to their name. They are not known to be the cheapest, but they certainly are not the most expensive as we did price out competitors. I feel our money was very well spent in choosing them. They know what they are doing and do it very well. We have referred friends to them and would not hesitate in using them again.

Claffey Pools designed and built a beautiful pool for our backyard. It’s the perfect size and runs with very minimal work from me. It’s nice to enjoy. They even answer my questions promptly when I run into something I’m not sure about. I highly recommend Claffey Pools for anyone interested in building a pool!

We're have enjoyed our Claffey pool now for 5 months. We chose to wait to see how things went so we could honestly address all aspects of the process. Please let us begin with the design process. We were fortunate to work with Shelley Claffey, one of the principles of the company. Shelley and her entire team were extremely patient with us. They worked with us for six months to ensure we had the ideal plan. They patiently explained and repeated explanations as needed throughout the six months. They made numerous changes, suggestions for cost cutting measures and helped us to create the ideal plan. We had two different superintendents during pool construction, Pete followed by Ryan. Pete handled the first half and Ryan the second. Both gentlemen were extremely professional. They explained the process and what to expect regularly. They helped coordinate on site changes with the contractors, which is helpful as English is many of the contractors' second language. Be sure to verify the work done to your building plan each week. We found too little back fill soil was ordered. This was corrected by Pete. We were glad we verified against the plan. Ryan was exceptional teaching us and re-teaching us "pool school". Any and all maintenance issues(very few) have been fixed swiftly and satisfactorily. Recommendation - Contract with Claffey Pools. We received quotes from other "top 50 in the US" pool builders. No one compared to Claffey's professionalism and product. They will build your outdoor recreation area to perfection and can work with you to be within your budget.

Claffey gave me the highest quote - and I went with them anyway as they had a reputation for quality work and service. BIG MISTAKE! My pool is three years old. The shell has cracked twice due to a structural design/construction error on their part. My pool has been offline for repairs 3-5 months every year as Claffey attempted to perform repairs. Warranty work appears to take a backseat to new construction as they never show up when expected. Today, my pool still leaks. Beware! I warned you!!

From the first meeting to the last, every employee of Claffey Pools was helpful, knowledgable and very professional. Our remodel finished on time even with a very rainy spring to deal with. Everyone who has ever remodeled something knows about unexpected issues or problems. The one we encountered with our pool, during the final phase, was handled quickly, efficiently and cost effectively. Our project manager was in contact with us daily for every step of the process either by phone or on site. During each phase, the employees kept the area tidy and cleaned up at the end of each day. My pool needed to be remodeled and fortunately I called Claffey Pools to get the job done. We started our project the first day of historic spring rains and even though we were understandably delayed, there was regular communication with my project manager and they took advantage of the few dry days to get my project completed. We have a family party every 4th of July and Claffey had crews early and late every day to make sure we were celebrating "pool side". The party was great and pool looks fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend Claffey pools.
