I had no idea of what kind of remodel, I wanted but was so glad I communicated with CadKay. They were able to show many designs and worked with me until I was satisfied with the final design. I was also guided thru the process of getting the necessary permits for construction to start. FYI ask about getting your plumbing permits at the same time too. I got the plans for the contractor to follow and assistance if I needed questions answered from CadKay. I am glad for the services.

I hired this architect on March 2022 for a project in my home because of the positive reviews on this site, and no progress has happened until now. Every filing submitted has been rejected, he claimed that the DOB was not giving him a reason for rejecting the filing but he will resubmit, I was giving him time to get the work done as he seemed like a very nice person when I spoke to him but now it is to the point where he won't even respond to my messages or calls. Meanwhile he collected 90% of the fee for the project and no progress has been made. I now have to take legal actions to try and get my money back because I feel I have been more than generous at giving him the time to complete this project. I would hate for this to happen to any one else trying to hire their services so that is why I am leaving this review, in hopes it helps others seeking to hire them.

A huge waste of time and money. All I needed was an architect to submit a rendering of already-completed plans for a sunroom installation and obtain the necessary permits, and they could not seem to figure out how to do this. They made repeated errors in submitting the plans (resulting in fees I had to pay out of my pocket to the DOB), and became increasingly uncommunicative. Seeing that they were unable to complete such a relatively minor task, I would not trust them with any type of service. If you print out a list of architects from the internet and throw a dart, you will probably have better luck than I did with this incompetent company.

We hired Cleaton for our home remodeling, and he missed every deadline. He would not return our phone calls or emails. Stay far away if you want to avoid headaches.

Cleaton was by far the most affordable architect I could find, and in the end he did get the project done. I had some issues with communication (having to ask for things multiple times, double check his work etc.) and timeliness / quality (it took almost a month to get the Tenant Protection Plan approved, and each round of iteration took days). For a small project that only really needed an architect on a technicality, this was all an inconvenience but wasn't a huge deal. I would have given fewer stars, but for the price I paid I think it's reasonable to expect a few issues to crop up along the way.

I paid Cleaton $875 for DOB CO filing. After one year waiting, nothing was done, and I need to hire another consultant for the CO filing. Cleaton promised me the refund numerous times, but all just lies.
