I pride myself on design that is practical, creative and cost-effective. A beautiful home or room doesn't need to cost a fortune. I like to re-use existing items, and focus on using simple things to create interest. One or two carefully chosen pieces in a simple room can make all the difference, adding character and creating a real point of difference. A home needs to be functional as well as beautiful. I think long-term about how spaces will be used, designing rooms that will be comfortable and practical now and in the future. My style I'm fortunate to have spent many years living and working in other countries, and have been exposed to a wide range of styles and philosophies. My style is eclectic – I like to mix old with new, and use inspiration from around the world to create my designs. I focus on providing tasteful, simple designs that meet the practical needs of my clients, but also add beauty and style in creative and clever ways. Juliet was absolutely wonderful to deal with. So friendly, helpful and with lovely taste in the finishing touches for our 70 Square metre build. Sean Coleman is a craftsman and we love our compact home, such a clever design, very very well finished. He also bent over backwards helping us navigate our consents etc which probably wasn't his job. Like Juliet he was so easy to communicate with, efficient and did everything he said he would and promptly. He removed stress from what could have been a stressful time. My son's Bedroom and our Master Bedroom were in need of a redo This work included reviewing window coverings colour selection for walls Replacing light fittings Bespoke furnishings for our bed Juliet was amazingly patient with us and helped us choose appropriate furnishings for our room and achieve the look that we wanted. She was extremely helpful is the consultation and implementation phases and was able to arrange contractors to the perform the work needed My Family and i are very pleased with the outcome and will continue to use her services.

Our lounge room needed some personality added to it, we wanted it to reflect who we are and how we live. At our first meeting with Juliet it was clear she understood what we were after. She took into account our budget, our time frame and the furnishings we wanted to keep. A few things were game changes for us, one was the re-arrangement of existing furniture and the other was a trip to Auckland with Juliet to visit warehouses and wholesalers. That was such a good day!!! Our room is almost complete, (agreeing on art work is tricky!) Juliet has stayed in contact through the process and available to answer small and large questions. I would very happily work with Juliet again and would reccomend her services to others.

House renovations

Juliet has been amazing with my renovations for the interior of the house. I started off just seeking advise regarding a desk & lounge room ideas and quickly morphed into totally updating and redoing the inside of my home. Juliet has helped my with design, placement of furniture, colours and bringing everything together in a coordinated look. Juliet has been more than helpful and always answered my endless questions. I have found the process excellent & a learning opportunity as Juliet would explain the reason's behind our purchases and why things worked or did not work. I have no issues in recommending her.

Juliet has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Apart from her obvious talent as an interior designer she is kind, accommodating and proactive. I have a very busy schedule and Juliet was happy to visit me after hours and even on occasion take delivery of items when I was unable to make myself available! The end result is absolutely lovely and my home has been transformed into a beautiful, comfortable and user friendly environment. I now look forward to coming home at the end of a busy day. My friends and family are amazed at what she has been able to achieve. Juliet really helped me become unstuck with our dining and living room. My husband and I had designed and built our home and had strong ideas on how the spaces linked to the outdoor living environment. But when it came to the interior I fell short. I thought we would need to do a total revamp, but Juliet could see it potential and knew through experience which elements would help to pull it all together, and what adjustments to make with furniture placement. It was great to discuss the ideas and see samples, so that I could realize the potential as well. Thank you Juliet! :)

Juliet designed a new bathroom and toilet in an older styled farmhouse, where space and natural lighting was very limited. She was able to recommend tradesmen which was very helpful. We are pleased with the end results, both rooms work well & look amazing.
