Lost faith in builder; list of issues are not addressed in a timely manner. Sorry but would not recommend this builder.

We have a home we bought from Diamante in 2021, and there was a list of issues which needed to be completed which the builder agreed to complete within a few months. These issues included faulty and wrong light connections, fireplace not working, missing window screens, some missing door hardware, and so on. Now as we are approaching almost 10 months after our closing date this list is still not finished by the builder. We recently heard that they have also gone into bankruptcy. When you pay such a high price for a luxury home you expect a certain level of professionalism which we have not seen from this team at all. We would not recommend this construction team to anyone at this point.

We contracted Diamante Custom Homes to build our new home in The Texas Hill Country outside New Braunfels, TX. We were building the home from out of state so it really mattered to us that the communication had to be good! They kept us up to date on everything including videos and pictures using a system called Builder's Trend. It was a seamless process. They build beautiful energy-efficient homes, using the highest quality materials. We had a unique request that needed some special planning. We requested an exterior courtyard that could only be accessed from the inside of the house be built. The difficult part was that it had to have a welded ceiling frame that could be covered with very specific aviary steel mesh so it would be open to fresh air and the weather so our African Grey Parrot could have outside time without the risk of her flying off or being injured by other animals. Keith, Chris, Leonard, and the team at Diamante made sure that the courtyard aviary was done right and our parrot loves it. They made sure that we were happy. The entire company and all the staff were wonderful to deal with. Our Superintendent Leonard was great and Elizabeth who takes care of any issues after your home is finished was a gem to work with! We really enjoyed working with them. We love our home and are so thankful that we had them build our home. Diamante is truly a builder that cares and stands behind what they build. We highly recommend them.

Diamante Custom Homes is that "RIGHT VEHICLE" to get you through this process. Keith is very kind and PATIENT. Chris Pastrano is easy to talk to and communicates clearly to minimize confusion. When there is 20 moving parts to a project communication and clarity becomes very important. Janis is an advocate for the homeowner and VERY knowledgeable. I think she has won couple of accounting awards!
