We love the patio Brad Hill built for us. He worked with us through a lengthy HOA approval process, and modified as a few things changed. Also worked with us and our neighbors as it was a joint project. We are very pleased with the final result. We know he also spent a good deal of thought making a few quirky things work. His crew was hardworking and knowledgeable--very impressive, actually. Brad's artistry really came through in the execution of our project.

I found Brad online and took a chance. I am so glad I did! Brad listened to everything I said and took a fuzzy idea in my head and executed it perfectly. I have a beautiful unique patio. We also have had issues with our lawn, sod dying and ponding after heavy rain. The yard looks great and after the deluge we got Saturday, November 6th we had no rivers or ponds in the yard. Brad Hill was recommended to us by a local property manager when we inquired about professional landscaping to build a retaining wall to change the flow of rain water in our lawn. As most reviewers have noted, Brad was quick to respond, and he came within a couple of days to begin the design process. He was knowledgeable about how to address our situation, and he was flexible about the changes we made as the work began. He and his team got right to work and built a retaining wall that is unobtrusive, replanted with both new and reused plant material and integrates beautifully in to our existing lawn. But the most important part of the project is that it works! The rainwater and runoff have been rerouted away from the house and the back lawn, and we have had ample opportunity with fall rains to test the design. We enjoyed working with Brad Hill and BPG Landscape and would recommend his expertise and work.

Brad Hill of. BPG Landscape designed and installed a great Patio and surrounding plants for us. He could not have been more professional. He listened to our suggestions etc. He came in under budget and on time. We would highly recommend him.

I had a hard time finding a landscaper who would help remediate the problem of standing water on my property, which is on a cul de sac that abuts the marsh. Brad Hill was willing to take on the challenge. He arranged for the property survey, drew up a plan, gave me different budget offerings, and worked with the POA review board. He implemented the plan, and the great news is that it has worked! Even with downpours, the yard is quickly drained and dry. He also selected and planted perfect native plantings, which do not require an irrigation system. This very attractive setting is drawing the compliments of all my neighbors and are even attracting bluebirds! Brad is definitely a knowledgeable professional!

I chose this company based on the good reviews I read. I wanted to execute the idea I had for my backyard garden with gazebo and patio. Initial meetings were good. But as the project progressed, it became increasingly disappointing. Sequencing of tasks was not well thought out. Schedule was not clearly laid out and task dates were often tentative. Some set task dates were not met. Granted some delays were due to weather, but some were due to no-shows on dates that were agreed to. Onsite project management was insufficient, causing mistakes that had to be corrected. The benches of the gazebo were not installed flush to the post. Shortly before the project completion, a rainy weekend deteriorated the sealer between the pavers, but this was not repaired; instead I was provided with the Sakrete to repair it myself. Clean-up of the worksite was not done and had to be requested, then poorly done. The pavers were cut on the grass then stone dust left for some days. Was only cleaned up when asked, by that time the grass was ruined. At the initial meeting, it was suggested that I add outdoor lighting, which was not part of the original scope of work. When I decided to include lighting, they said they don’t provide the service, I would have to get the electrician myself. I contracted them because they sold themselves as a turnkey service provider. Their website lists outdoor lighting at the top of their service list. I guess they didn’t like my requests to correct their mistakes. There’s more, but you probably get the point. I paid and ended the project, leaving remaining minor issues and a lot of cleanup. I was already too frustrated and could not cope with extending the schedule even more. As a Quality Management professional I expected high quality, “do it right the first time”, especially as others had given high ratings. So yes, definitely could have been much better! Why 2 stars, not 1? I am only relaying my own experience, not making recommendations.

I first saw Brad’s work on Houzz and loved it. I contacted him by phone and he Immediately returned my phone call. He came out the following day and gave me many ideas and was able to work up an estimate. The estimate was emailed to me that night and a work start day was given. Brad showed up on time and with the help of extremely hard-working men he got the job done in 3 days. My patio/fire pit and walkway are beautiful. For ANY future projects I will us Brad Hill.

BPG designed two major projects for our outside gardens that matured beautifully and looked amazing. We put our home on the market and the garden was a major factor in the house selling in 4 days! BPG will be designing the landscaping for our new home!

I hired BPG Landscape to do an outdoor lighting project because Brad Hill was everything I was looking for in a contractor. He was responsive and genuinely wanted to please us and have the final product be exactly what we wanted. In fact, after he finished phase one, there was no doubt that he would be completing phase two for us. He has worked with me like a partner on the lighting projects for our new home and it has all turned out great. I would definitely recommend him.

We had a small brickwork project on Hilton Head Island that we needed to accomplish from afar. I met with Brad and he understood exactly what I wanted and gave us a quote on the spot. When I asked for upgrades, he gave me honest costs for them and gave me the option of doing them or not. Brad kept me updated on the progress of our project once I returned home (several states away). Our project was completed on time and we love our new walkway/patio area. I could not be happier with the whole experience! I would hire Beaufort Planning Group again in a heartbeat!

Brad designed and implemented our landscaping in Beaufort SC. This was a new home and we were relocating from Illinois. So we had to trust that the finished product met our expectations even though we could not be present. The finished landscape exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have been happier. We still receive comments from our new neighbors. In fact we have contracted with BPG to add to our grounds. We have no reservations in recommending Brad for home landscaping.

We contracted several landscape architects to discuss the renovation of our courtyard. We are new to the area and wanted a reliable company to work with. We selected BPG Landscape because the owner of BPG (Brad) had a good work ethic from the start of the project to the end. He was always on time for appointments and kept us updated on the progress during the entire project. His work crew was reliable and easy to work with and Brad was on site most days or came by after hours to ensure the work was to our liking. Because the L-shaped courtyard is very old, there were concerns as to what would be discovered under the deck and old bricks. But, each challenge was met and handled professionally. The courtyard is small, but Brad was able to place the features we wanted (pergola, very large wall fountain, grotto, fire pit as well as a cover wall to hide the a/c units) so that the end result is aesthetically pleasing. He was also (at our request) able to rework some of the old hand-made bricks in with the new pavers. We requested a great deal and Brad delivered. Our goal was to re-create a little bit of Italy in the landscape design and that goal was exceeded. We highly recommend BPG Landscape and if we have future outside projects, Brad is the first person we would call.

Very creative design that integrates well with the surroundings. Within budget. Easy and flexible to work with. Minor issues await completion.

Our Company, Coastal Equities LTD Co., recently built a new commerical mixed use building in Town Center, Beaufort, SC. The building was designed for occupancy of a State Farm Insurance agency and two high end apartments above. Expectations for a high quality buildout was important. We carefully reviewed competing Landscaping proposals and elected to engage the Beaufort Planning Group. One of our goals was the utilization of indiginest low maintenance plantings and colorful blooms year long. Only local knowledge and experience can deliver such a plan. It was clear that their proposal delivered the best plan and value, especially in a cost conscious enviorment. Our expectations have been exceeded. Mr. Hill completed the installation on time and budget. The plants installed met or exceeded contract specifications. The sprinkler system was designed to miminize waste and allow for expansion when the adjacent property is developed. Fencing was included in our project, which was designed with quality materials and finish to eliminate on going mantenance. BPG took extra care to make sure that the fence was installed correctly to meet our goal of aesthetics and durability. The only supplement required to finish the installation was for the inclusion of an overlooked item by the architect. Normally Change Orders are expensive, but Mr. Hill provided options which were very reasonable in cost and delivered on our expectations of quality. As with any construction project, call backs can be expected. It is not unusual that contractors are slow to come back to a project which was finished and for which a final payment had been made. BPG and Mr. Hill himself made regular inspections of the work and without being asked, made adjustments as needed. it was not necessary for us to make any calls to Mr. Hill. In these times when cost is paramount, Mr. Hill and BPG delivered value. We highly recommend Mr. Hill personally and BPG.

BPG has always worked closely with the Client and Architect to ensure that the landscape design blended harmoniously with the existing site conditions and the architectural design of the built environment.
