we are a small HOA in Southern Pines. In May of 2018 we lost to of our homes to a fire. I knew Daniel Bureau and knew of his excellence in home building so we chose him for the reconstruction of the 2 homes. Daniel and his team did not disappoint! Ours was a big project over almost 12 months and they worked with various obstacles, personalities and requests, accommodating every time. Daniel came in on time and on budget with a finished product more than expected. We highly recommend Bureau Building and Landscape.

Daniel was very professional on two projects already completed (MB walk-in shower, window wall replacement). Third project (screened porch addition is in design phase. Work was performed skillfully and promptly without delays and complications. He listens and suggests alternatives to control cost. He becomes friend to his clients. He uses good subcontractors when necessary.

Very professional group. Thorough estimate given prior to commencement of work. They always arrived on time, shielded their work from the rest of our home, kept me informed of progress and advised on other problems found. They were very tidy and totally cleaned up when work completed. And they came in under budget!!

Kept forgetting to rate. After four quotes, we choose Bureau Building & Landscape to finish our third floor. Daniel Bureau gave us a very reasonable quote (broken down) and the timeline was good for us. Daniel and his crew started a couple of days earlier, but it was ok, we were already prepared for them. The Crew was very professional, they laid plastic on the areas they were walking on. They clean up after themselves every day. Daniel and his crew finished ahead of the timeline provided and within budget. The third floor came out great; everything we asked for was accomplished. I highly recommend Bureau Building & Landscape for any type of upgrades or repairs. I will be calling Bureau Building & Landscape (Daniel) again.

I HIGHLY recommend Bureau Building and Landscape. We hired Daniel Bureau to remodel our house, and we were extremely pleased with the results. Daniel was very knowledgeable, advising us on the pros and cons of different techniques throughout the process (e.g. re-staining vs. painting cabinets). When some of his sub-contractors got behind schedule, Daniel hired a second crew (at no additional cost to us) and worked through the weekend to get the project back on schedule. Daniel and his crew were extremely detailed in their post-remodel clean-up--much better than I have seen on other projects (I worked as a carpenter for 5 years). By the end of the project, Daniel had completed the following: -Scrape popcorn ceilings throughout the house. -Remove an outdated surround-sound system, whole-house fan, and repair the sheetrock. -Paint walls and ceilings throughout. -Install stacked stone on our gas fireplace. -Paint kitchen cabinets. -Replace backsplash. -Remove Corian countertops and install quartz countertops. -Install new kitchen appliances. We could not have asked for a better outcome or a more professional, competent, and personable company.

Daniel just rebuilt our porch deck and exceeded our expectations! He has now completed 2 big projects for us this year, and we are so very pleased with the results! Highly recommend!

Bureau Construction converted our screened in porch into an all weather room. They did an excellent job! Attention to detail was great and they were very neat. Along with the with the conversion, they completely redid our adjoining deck which now is maintenance free. Best of all they remained within the budget established for the work. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing new construction or remodeling work.

We would highly recommend Daniel Bureau Building & Landscape! They removed and rebuilt our old and deteriorated deck. Craig, who headed up the team for our deck, is a highly qualified and experienced craftsman. We wanted to tweak the design and size of the deck steps and Craig created and executed a perfect solution. We are delighted with his expertise and skills. Dan is very professional and followed up on all aspects of the job and kept the lines of communication open. We were pleased that the project was completed in a timely manner. We will be talking with Dan about some future remodeling plans.
