We met with Darren to put the finishing design touches on the exterior of our renovated bungalow. He immediately understood our vision and created a design, including brick stain and cedar plank cladding, to give our home a modern yet elegant curb appeal. Darren also provided input on landscape design options to serve as a complimentary backdrop to our project. Although a small project, Darren treated it with the greatest of care and with his input, the exterior was transformed just as we hoped.

Darrens passion and creativity towards his business exceeded my expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside with him. The wide plank flooring details transferring up the wall and rough timber beams exposed with wood dowels.

We found Darren on Houzz as we noticed his firm's name on several of the home styles we liked. We had been planning for years to rebuild a long term home on a lake lot we had. We knew we had the right architect when the first thing he said is "I have to come up and see first hand your current place, how you use it now, and the neighbourhood". Using the pics we saved on Houzz, and after sitting with us several times, he sent us a first draft. It was 90% on. We tuned things up and presented our contractor with Darren's full set of drawings that the contractor said were more detailed than he had ever seen. It made the pricing a lot easier and firmer. Excellent value for money, a pleasure to work with, and we would use Darren again, except he already designed our perfect dream house!

I am coming to the end of a long renovation process. Darren was my second architect I hired and right choice for going forward with the project. It was a significant renovation, addition and ultimately changed the external and internal look of the house (kitchen addition, combining rooms, outdoor covered patio, new roof line, soffits, external frieze board and crown). I do not hesitate to recommend Darren and his team. He held our hands through the process from pulling out of us what we were trying to accomplish through the tender process and ultimate completion. He has even assisted us with interior design elements that have helped us tie the whole project together. I describe Darren as follows: creative, reachable, extremely hard working, very knowledgably, willing to adapt designs and problem solve when necessary, good listener and respectful of any ideas we may have brought forward, even some of the crazier ones. I also feel the cost for his services was very reasonable. You cannot go wrong with Structured Creations.

Darren provided a complete design service from the original concept for our addition, through revisions, final drawings, direction and assistance in the selection of a contractor and construction review, through to completion of the project. His attention to detail was amazing, and has drawn nothing but praise from not only the contractor and the various trades, but everyone who has seen the final product. It is very difficult to tell that the construction was an addition as it joined seamlessly to the original house It was a pleasure to work with Darren and we highly recommend Structured Creations to anyone looking for an architect with a vision both creative and unique.
