ETO Doors

I ordered several doors from ETO recently, and I'm very pleased with the quality of work they put into the doors. They really stand out and make the complete renovation project. I feel they were always helpful, always answered my questions and provided a great product for the price I paid.

I got a beautiful hand made knotted door from ETO that exceeded my expectations! The final result from what the door looks like really stands out. I feel these doors are made of high quality material and they definitely stand out when compared to anything you can get at H Depot or Lowes. Will be referring them to friends.

The exterior door they just delivered looks great! The order was placed two weeks back, it arrived today. We have someone coming out tomorrow to get them hung. Will update, but so far I'm happy with the experience with ETO.

On July 15th, 2023 I had placed an order for 10 doors and I was having them shipped to New York. The process of placing my order, wasn't too bad. I feel they were on top of things from when the order got placed. My emails and calls were always returned, when I would reach out with questions. I took delivery of those doors in mid September. I wanted to give it some time before I went on to share, but the doors look great. I'm happy with how the ordering process went with ETO.

I recently ordered a handful of fiberglass doors through ETO. My sales rep, was Chad. He was very helpful in getting the order setup. Anytime I would call in with questions, I feel my questions were addressed. The turn around time was not long, the doors arrived last week. I'm very happy with how the entire situation went. I am a contractor, and I would buy from them again.

I recently purchased a home out in Joshua Tree to rent out as an AirBNB. During the complete reconstruction of the home, we hired ETO doors for several new door placements in our home. Tyler and his team always gave us updates. We ended up getting our doors right on time, within the set time frame we were promised. I feel they were really on top of things. We purchased 3 doors at the same time. 2 of them were fine. The 3rd had inconsistent grain in the veneer. It didn't accept the stain and looks pretty bad. ETO had us submit a warranty claim. Will update the review after we receive their response. But I would steer away from these doors if you want to avoid construction delays and hassles when you try to fix the issue. Coupled with the delivery problems and difficulty getting samples, I would not recommend this company. There are many other options that do a much better job.

Spent quite a bit here, and ordered a few mahogany doors from ETO. Very happy with what they were able to deliver. The doors were delivered within the estimated time frame that they quoted me. Ordered a few of the 35x95 Fiberglass Fortis doors from ETO, and we just love the look of them! They came well packed, we had no problems when the doors were delivered. They really do stand out. High quality material, reasonable prices. Love the grain of the wood, I would buy from them again

We recently did a complete renovation on our business and ordered several of the MA300 / Mahogany 3 Panel doors. They look great! Jose was the guy over there that was working with us, he gave us updates often. Our location is about 45 minutes away from these guys, so delivery was quick. Everything came exactly as we had hoped. I ordered a fire rated solid mahogany door from ETO. The oak door was solid, no knots. The entire look of the door just really stood out. Ordered a fire rated solid mahogany door. The pre-hung door arrived in good shape however the threshold appears to have been cut using a circular saw. The frame had a ragged edge. The threshold had a knot in the center. Additionally, the frame was soiled with black hand prints as if the staff had been working as a car mechanic. Customer service said that that was the quality they provided and I could go out an replace the threshold on my own.

Doors stand out and made our home. Delivery skills were perfect. They packed things in a way to prevent any type of damage. You don't see service like this anymore, I'm glad I hired ETO. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat.

Ordered several of the interior stain grade doors for a recent renovation we were doing, very satisfied with the resutls and what we received. I placed my order on 10/13, and received my doors last week. We had them ship these doors to St. George, UT. They were packed properly, we noticed no damage when they arrived. The best! High quality doors for a very reasonable price!! I did a major remodel recently and needed several doors (both interior and exterior). I gave up after going to a few local stores, and that’s where my journey to finding a legitimate door supplier online came about. The doors we ordered, showed up on our doorsteps 3-4 weeks after we placed our order. The interior mahogany doors we ordered look perfect! Larry was a huge help. They overly packaged these doors to ensure there would be no damage during shipping (and there wasn’t). I did have someone finish and hang these doors recently, and they look even better now. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending these guys to anyone who might need beautifully made doors!

Best quality when it comes to strong doors. I wanted something “hurricane worthy”, due to my location here in Southern Florida. The doors seem very heavy, sturdy. We were so excited when we received all of our interior and exterior doors. To the naked eye, the unfinished doors looked great. However, having a professional stain the interior doors, he found all the interior doors had a sticker on all the doors from 2016. Something had evidently leaked on the doors both front and back from the tops down, leaving the stained doors with unsightly runs all the way down the doors. He did spend much time trying to sand and correct the staining. The exterior door done by the same person turned out beautifully. We were told by ETO, the work was done poorly on our end and we ruined the doors. We have done many wood doors in the past and have never seen anything like this. After working with the sales rep (who did the best he could), and told us we would receive new doors, the Claims Department, after two weeks told us we would not get replacements, due to there is no shelf life on the doors and the issue was with our work. Claims Department told us to just paint them a "Nice Brown". So, with that being said, I am assured that something had been spilled on these door over the years, sitting in a warehouse. So we are out $2,500 plus all the time in labor and materials to try and fix the doors. Would be better to go to the big Box Stores, as we have done in the past. At least we would know that we would receive replacements, with no issues.

I’ve been buying doors on and off from ETO for a handful of years now. Our first order consisted of a mahogany exterior door, with our more recent order being a few interior doors. The manufacturing, attention to detail, and the delivery time was all great. I was told it would take a month, we got our doors in three weeks. If you’re in the area, they have a showroom too!

Ordered the Glass French doors they have, very pleased with the quality of service and attention to details in these doors. We were consider a lot of different door manufacturers, but went with them due to a local recommendation. We’re glad we did. Would recommend them without a doubt.

The doors provided by this company go unmatched when compared to anything you’d find at Home Depot (or any of those big box stores). Our hand carved doors are extremely beautiful, we feel they “make the home”. This was my first time ordering from ETO, won’t be my last.

Nick was very helpful with my original door order, and the freight company damaged the door before it was delivered to me. My hassle was with the freight companies losing track of the door return. Nick and Lorena ended up helping me get a replacement door at no additional cost that was in stock and it arrived safely. I would definitely consider using them again on a future project.

Order grossly delayed and communication about this delay was poor. We are now in a position in which our doors are 7 weeks later than we were told, and we cannot move into our new house (incurring rent). They did not give us advance warning of this delay so we could have purchased another door, nor would they let us cancel our order.

I can't believe I lost more than $4.000 dollars in a door that is all deformed, very poor quality all stained wood, with breaks and patches and without the legal impact sticker! so if you are looking for a wooden impact door please do not buy it at eto doors! Two days after being installed it has completely deformed! You are going to waste a lot of time trying to get help from them or at least an answer! and you will lost your money! Now I have to buy another door and pay for the installation and permits and so on!

Nick at ETO doors did an excellent job with customer service. He is easy to talk to, quick to respond, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are able to get what you are looking for. I highly recommend him and the ease of the ETO website. I also appreciated ETOs varying door jamb sizes, something I could not find elsewhere. I have not yet received the doors, so I cannot comment on the quality of product, but if it matches the service, it should be perfect!

Esther at ETO Doors provided excellent customer service to create a custom front door with sidelights. She walked me through the process of placing the order and made sure all the details were just right. We are currently waiting for the door to made and hope the manufacturing and delivery of the door is as smooth as the placing of the order.

We are very happy with both the service from Chris and the quality of all our ETO purchased doors. I believe we are up to 20 doors (including 2-fire rated, 2-front, and 2-patio) All have been top quality Mahogany arched 2 panel doors and exactly as ordered. Delivery time is approximately 3 weeks but usually comes in a few days sooner. If you live in the area and have a truck, you can save on shipping and pick up yourselves as we did. If you want good service and xlnt quality, buy from ETO Doors.

Knotty wood alder doors are advertised at major home improvement centers.. however, even tho the one we wanted was displayed, we were told they do not order them for customers anymorel Thank goodness ETO was found to have the exact knotty alder door we needed. We ordered the door and heard from their salesperson Chris who immediately sent us an estimate and price for door delivery, We had to add additional pieces and Chris was again, right on it, with immediate 5-10 minute e mail with all instruction, and different links, one of which we used to pay for it immediately. Amazing service, very professional and all instruction in the e mail for now and if we needed to contact in the future.

I was very impressed with the speed at which everything was handled. From the first generic inquiry I sent in, Art contacted me right away, and from there everything flowed. I was coming to pick up my door to speed up the process since I am only a couple hours away. Art got me set up and scheduled all the way! I am a contractor, and I will definitely use and recommend ETO Doors again!

We were given a warped door that will not hang properly. We had to wait roughly 6 weeks to get the door and what the company failed to clarify is that if you do not install the door within 72 HOURS OF ARRIVAL, they will not replace or credit anything that is wrong with the door. we even offered to pay partial for a replacement but the most they would give us is $150 credit for an $800 door. Unless you are 100% certain you can install within 72 hours, don't order these doors. And even then, based on my experience and several others I have read, you will probably have to be prepared to return the door and wait again for a new one. Terrible customer service.

Company does not stand by their product ..ordered exterior door(spec-ed as such and premium paid for it)..glas/laminate insert,professionally installed by builder and after about 4 weeks glas/laminate started separating..door also arrived with sloppy caulking around the edges(possible the very reason for the separation)..company declined replacement under warranty and points to warranty conditions/requirements buried deeply in the fine print..no installation instructions were included or cited when the door was ordered or arrived..very poor product and even poorer customer service/warranty handling..not even a courtesy call or discount offer for replacement needed..will never buy from them again and would advise finding a more reputable firm for your needs

We are working with Esther on the purchase of our mahogany doors for a house renovation. She is very informative and always answers any questions quickly. This is the second time we have ordered doors through ETO and the second time we have worked with Esther...great quality, knowledge and customer service!

ETO Doors is a really great company with fabulous customer service. My Sales Representative, Esther Ramirez, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I would HIGHLY recommend asking for her if you plan to order from ETO doors. Also, I ordered beautiful Mahogany doors and they are even lovelier then pictured. Very high Quality! Everything arrived on time as expected and was well packaged.

False advertising and poor quality. Doors that are advertised as primed come with unprimed edges made up of a bunch of pieces of wood stuck together with huge holes and unfilled seams. Be ready to do work on the door. Definitely not just ready for paint. Customer service doesn't care and just says doors come "unfinished". I guess this means with holes and gaps.

We keep ordering doors from ETO they fix any predelivery problems without a problem. The doors are made very well and are shipped with care. I have purchased doors from ETO and sent them to the Caribbean for Irma reconstruction because they were the best choice.for quality and look.

ETO has great selection of contemporary interior and exterior doors with great prices. After long research, we decided on ETO for our entry door and interior doors for our home in Santa Monica. We ordered 8 feet tall solid core flush doors, white primed 1 3/4" thickness. They are bold, heavy and looks high quality, making a nice statement. For entry, we wanted a 48" x 96" custom door with 21" sidelite. Despite we needed something sooner, we did not like other options in the market and ETO was able to provide pre hung frame with sidelite to unblock construction. Their showroom in LA art district has all doors in display and if you are lucky, you can also see doors in different sizes in the back to get a as close as possible view before ordering. It's definitely worth stopping by. They are open on Sundays till 2pm, though I suggest calling beforehand. The doors look much better in person compared to catalog or website. Christine was our sales rep and she was knowledgeable, detail oriented and awesome completing & coordinating the order.

Avoid this company, a 2 week order took 6, they delivered a door with a hidden defect and will not stand by it because the delivery paper was signed. The door quality is inferior for the price, very light. All in all a disaster.

I have been in real estate construction field for over 25 years. Seldom have ever have I had such terrible service. Initially I ordered an Alder front door from Ram the salesman. 5 weeks later it showed up with a baseball size knot hole. When I rejected it, Cynthia told me that many people like a door with a huge knot. Really? They expected me to accept a defective door Then I was told they would send me another door, so I foolishly added 15 interior doors including pocket doors to the first order. 6 weeks later the order was delivered. I asked Ram where were the pocket doors and frame. Ram told me the pocket doors were defective and he would reorder the pocket doors. Another 5 weeks go by and then ETO sent me a freight bill for the pocket doors. I asked them it they expected me to pay the freight for the defect doors that were not included in the original shipping bill. They did not answer my emails and calls for 3 days regarding the freight bill. On the 4th day I was told the new pocket doors were never ordered. It has now been about 10 weeks since I originally ordered the pocket doors. I can't finish the dry wall, flooring, sheet rock and painting due to the pocket doors never arriving. ETO is not responding to my requests regarding my additional incurred expenses caused by the doors delay. I am now taking legal action since ETO will not respond or help me. Don't ever use ETO doors unless you want a nightmare and huge delay in your construction project.

Placed order for door in early July 2017. Promised shipment within 4-6 weeks. Haven't received the products as of 9/14/2017. When called to inquire the shipping status, all I got is "will get back to you end of the day", "will pass your message to shipping/production specialist and she will get back to you by 5 today", "your order will be shipped by Friday this week". Of course, these were all lies and I have no clue if I will ever be getting the product that I have already paid for almost 3 months ago.

I love the way the people at ETO doors took care of us. They have really great costumer service. Anthony and Art thanks for all of your timely correspondence back and forth. I know we had quite a few changes and appreciate your patients. There was a little hick-up but it got resolved in the end. The project turned out great and everyone loves the stainless steel barn door hardware with the opaque single lite door. It's easy to adjust and has a nice glide. It looks super nice!

I chose to go with ETO Doors and man was that a great decision! Chris Seminatore helped me through the entire process with patients and professionalism. I would recommend Chris and the rest of the ETO team for any project you may have large or small.

Absolutely horrendous ! If there could be negative start I would leave minus 5 stars ! This company is a disaster, believe every negative review you read, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY I ordered two doors, one being a dutch door. Door was delivered in pieces so I had not idea they built in wrong ! Yes they build a dutch door to open on the bottom! Yup, that's right, a dutch door that opens on the bottom ! I called them and got nothing but the run around, on hold for over an hour, told I was getting call back I never got. Then I get someone on the phone and she starts yelling at me ! I said who makes a dutch door to open on the bottom , her response "apparently the idiots who work here" ! They told me my new door would be here twice and they never showed up ! One time the driver was "sick" (they never called me, I had to call them) then they "forgot" to put the door on the truck ! Both times I had the contractor here waiting which cost me money ! All you will get is the run around and frustration. Save yourself the time and aggravation and order from someone local who will handle business in a proper manner. As I type this I am on hold for 28 minutes for a supervisor when I was supposed to get a call back over an hour ago. This company has made my remodel project and absolute nightmare. Look at the attached photo, look how the lip on the dutch door is on the bottom making it impossible to open the top ! Who does this ! Is there any quality control at ETO Doors ?

Zero stars. This company is the worst! I ordered solid mahogany doors and given cheap Chinese doors with Palm wood for the core. There are voids in the Palm wood so not only are they not solid mahogany, they aren't even solid core. Company refuses to do anything about it. Not ethical, product is horrible, customer service is a joke. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

I would give them a minus rating if I could. Their customer service is horrendous. We ordered custom doors. The partial order came in 3 weeks late and my spouse was never updated about this. Our contractor needed to complete the job and went out to purchase molding. My husband has been trying to contact them (without a response) for a refund. In addition, part of the doors had glue (ok, if we were told about it for sanding and stripping). This has resulted in many extra hours of labor.

I bought the ETO door back in November and absolutely love it. I had to stain it and then seal it and I used Marine Varnish which just came out wonderful! Everyone loves the new look.

We received our doors in excellent condition, we prepped them sealed them and hung them. We have had so many complements on the doors we included a picture of them on our Christmas cards. Best, David S.

Terrible customer service. No replacement of defective door panels no warranty. Over 30 emails and phone calls nothing has been done. These doors were defective and cost 1800.00 really a rip off to say the least....

ETO provided me with beautiful walnut doors. There was an issue with the jambs but they were quick to fix the issue and make me a happy client. I will be buying more doors from them.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION ISSUES, RESOLVED, 9/28/2014 ORIGINAL REVIEW: I ordered a single-light, arched-glass door back in May, 2014. I was told it would ship in three weeks.I am still waiting almost seven weeks later. I have called repeatedly and each time the ship date was put off. The new ship date would go by with absolutely no email or apology or 'sorry for the inconvenience' from this company. Once I was told that they were waiting on the vendor to deliver the glass. Bull. If you have a similar problem, don't bother with their 'status' department. No one EVER calls back. Last time I called,the receptionist tried to connect me to the status department yet again, but I insisted on speaking to an owner, who, of course, was not in and never returned my call. I DID get an email that same day that said my door had shipped. I followed my tracking number and finally saw that my door was 'out for delivery'. No door, even two days later. I caled the delivery company and also E.T.O. (numerous times) to try to locate my purchase and was told that the delivery company only comes to my area on Wednesdays. I told E.T.O that if my door was not in my hands by the following Wednesday, I would have my money back and would go elsewhere for a door. The door arrived that Wednesday, nine full weeks after placing my order. 8/28/2014 - AN UPDATE: TO BE FAIR, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT, and since then, E.T.O. has gone out of their way to make ammends with me for the awful customer service. I have four more exterior doors to order for my project, and have been promised in writing that my order will be handled differently, and personally, next time. It's too bad that it took a bad review on Houzz to get ther attention, but hopefully the overall quality of service and communication wil be improve at E.T.O. now. My door is knotty alder and came unfinished, but is now hung, trimmed out, varnished, and gorgeous. Customer service was an issue with E.T.O., but they have made ammends and resolved the probems. I'll order with them again.

This company does not even deserve one star I place an order on June 10 send them a email signed copy They said my order will be ready by 7/7 . I called today and they said that they never received my email. I totally wasted my time with this company.

I couldn't be happier with my door and the service ETO Doors provided. I needed an oversized door for my bathroom remodel and they are the only ones who could provide what I needed at a very reasonable price. I plan on using them again soon for our front door.

We have gotten many compliments from the neighbors! We have a 1920 house and a very unusual door size that was impossible to find: 40" x 80". And, changing the opening and using a smaller door wasn't an option. I am thrilled that I found ETO online, and with our new door.

I received and installed the doors last week. Everything went beautifully and the doors fit and look great. Even my wife is happy with them. My painter found one side of one door that had some surface irregularities/bumps that he may need to sand out once they're hung. We'll see about that. Overall, we're very pleased with the order/sales folks , front desk service, through delivery to final appearance. Mike M

I will never use ETO Doors again. It’s not worth the small savings I thought I was getting. I ordered 3 external swing doors from ETO, fairly standard products (1-lite, wood doors, primed for paint). Two were stock sizes and one was a custom size. When I placed the ordered, I was told the doors would take about 4 weeks, 9 weeks later I still did not have the doors. My entire project was delayed while waiting for the doors. Even getting ETO to confirm a delivery date was almost impossible. When they finally delivered the product, more than 9 weeks after ordering, they only delivered 2 of the doors. The doors also showed up 1” shorter than I ordered, but after waiting 9 weeks for stock doors, I wasn’t about to send them back. It took several more rounds of emails, phone calls and missed delivery dates and broken promises before I finally got Door #3, 12 weeks after ordering. Of course, that door did not show up as ordered, it was not primed for paint, causing me to spend more time and money. Had I not hounded them regularly, I am not sure they would have ever delivered that door. To make matters worse, they require full payment up front (even for stock items) before they ever ship a product, so you are left with no option but to wait and wait and wait and hope they come through. I recommend that you find another vendor.

I love the products ETO Doors offers. I have bought a few doors from here for my home and always have compliments from guests. They do have good products and very good quality wood they are using on their doors. I just picked up a new closet door from my daughter's bedroom and we both love it! Sometimes they have very random and unique items in their clearance section that is majorly discounted. I will highly recommend ETO Doors to everyone who needs new doors. Tony has been the rep that has always helped me at ETO Doors. I highly recommend talking to him.
