I did a huge project of reflooring my whole house, repainting and changing out the window treatments. Marlissa did a wonderful job of helping me to select the color theme, and to schedule all the trade people. I would use her again without reservation. She has excellent taste. She was honest and worked with my ideas. She was on the site often and gave good directions to the vendors. My only concern was one vendor that came back and asked for significant more money because he "found" issues. He had the opportunity to come to the home and see the project, the "issues" were very clear, even to me, someone who is not a professional in this area so I felt this was bait and switch. This was not Marilissa fault, the fault of her vendor. I think that vendor had a male/ female issue and thought he could pull one over on me, a single female. The other vendors, especially the drapery vendor were outstanding.

I hired Destination Design to install tile in my foyer and on a long window ledge area that needed to be upgraded and used for plants. The tile foyer and follow up on the window ledge adds some color and draws one into the rest of the condominium. The design help was spot on and the professional that showed up to lay the tile, grout it and seal it was also spot on.

I am delighted with the work Marissa did on my house! Carpeting, paint, furniture and artwork that she chose are all beautiful! I am now very proud of my house, and very comfortable in it every day. It feels very sophisticated and very cozy at the same time. Just what I was looking for. Also, she's wonderful to work with. Highly recommended!!!

Marissa and I worked together on three different homes. She was able to help me create a beautiful home in a two bedroom Chicago apartment, a three bedroom cape cod , and, most recently, a lovely larger home in Fox Point, WI. With her great eye for design, Marissa was able to help me with furniture placement, picture hanging, window treatments, and, most important, paint color choices. The moves, coming on the heels of a divorce, were stressful and overwhelming. Marissa took on all of the tasks of helping to quickly turn the spaces into warm, welcoming places. In addition to helping me purchase items, she was able to use my own things in creative ways so that these places quickly felt like home. And, she is terrificly fun to work with as well! highly recommend her for small projects or whole house remodels.

Galbraith Carnahan Architects, LLC

Marissa and I worked together with JDS Builders on a residential addition in Mount Pleasant, WI. The focus of the project was to create a new entertaining space that would incorporate a more formal gathering room and upgraded kitchen. Having the guests visit while the hosts prepared the meals was key, without having the guests actually in the kitchen preparation area.. Marissa created a workable and elegant kitchen space with cabinets, counters and appliances that made the space warm, inviting and open. Guests feel that they are in the kitchen visiting while the host is able to maneuver without having her guests "under-foot". Marissa has done a number of design projects for me -- both business and personal. She is a master on coordinating materials and space planning (which I am totally out of my element). She designed my company's lobby space along with some of the meeting rooms with an outcome that was unimaginable for me without her direction. She also coordinated my home redo of colors, carpet and kitchen including managing the project with the subs. Presently she is representing me as project manager for a remodel of a conference room at a public university If you have an interior design need, you would be well served to give Marissa a call.

As a first-time remodeler, I had no idea where to even begin. But i did have some visions of how I wanted my kitchen and dining area to look after it was done. Marissa Schultz immersed herself in my space, listened to my ideas, and looked at my inspirations. Then together, we dove into how to make it come to life. We chose materials. She helped me understand what to look for in contractors and how to go about organizing the work and the project. Since she is quite a distance away, she left me with detailed plans to guide me along every step of the way. And whenever i have a question, she is very responsive. My design has changed slightly since she left, as new options presented themselves. She helped make my decisions at every turn. I am so delighted and excited!

Kommentiert: kitchen cabinets and floorThe cabinets are cherry. They are custom cabinets so the stain was also custom. It was a medium cherry color. The hickory flooring was a natural stain - no color. I hope that helps!
