I’m a thinker. Sometimes an over thinker, that lives largely through sight. I inherited my mother’s artistic ability. My father exposed me to the beauty (and disgust) of nature inside his farmlands. Being the oldest child, my younger siblings weren’t really good for anything… just teasing! They instilled my patience and prepared me for children. Now that I am a mother, my children drive me to make my practice applicable. How to create an alluring living space without stifling daily functions – and by functions, I mean chaos. I believe our eyes possess the ability to touch our souls – to calm or excite; to soothe or stimulate. Visually pleasing spaces that convey emotion are my favorite. A piece of artwork – mom. A color palette taken from nature – dad. A gallery wall built across two years’ time with the patience for stumbling upon the perfect pieces – siblings. Organized chaos to allow the daily flow of energy – children. I thrive inside living spaces. Let me over think your space.
