Our Story... Brian Duke is no stranger to the kitchen business. He began his career in joinery in 1974 and from there went on to learn cabinet making and installation. In 1988 he went to London, England where he worked under the guidance of a highly successful interior designer. He was then persuaded to move to Brussels, Belgium where he made Kitchens and Bedrooms by hand and gained a greater insight into design. In 2000 with the help of his wife Annette he opened a showroom and workshop in Main Street, Newtowncunningham, Co. Donegal. They were joined in 2005 by their son Oran who went on to become their main designer. In 2006 the state of the art factory was moved to Killyverry, Co. Donegal and the entire 8000 square foot building was then converted to showroom becoming one of the largest kitchen showrooms in Ireland. The new bedroom collection was introduced in 2007 and the Gliderobes introduced in 2009 which all became instant successes. 2012 saw Dukes enter the UK Trade Kitchen Market which has grown from strength to strength due to the quality and competitive pricing of the Kitchens. In December 2015 it was announced that Dukes Kitchens had won the Second Nature Real Kitchen of the Year Award. This is a proud achievement for all at Dukes. This signifies the care and detail that goes into each and every design produced by our Design Consultants. Having earned such a great reputation Dukes are constantly fitting kitchens all over Ireland. Brian and family very much welcome change which is why their displays are constantly kept up to date. Dukes Kitchens has remained a family run business and renowned for it's quality and service hence our slogan: "Dukes - Not just good in the Kitchen, good in the Bedroom too!"
