The project had been completed and a request for final payment made. We stopped by the following Monday morning at 8:00am to remove our lockbox and collect final payment. Our lockbox had already been removed and set on the front step. Nobody answered the door when we rang the bell.

We sent notification again via email explaining their contractual obligations. Final payment was received a few days later.
EIR was contracted to remove flooring to accommodate the new kitchen cabinetry and reinstall the flooring after the cabinetry was installed. Midway through the reinstallation, Dawn Pape stated she no longer wanted EIR to complete the flooring and that she would "hire her own guy". Dawn Pape never gave EIR an opportunity to address any issues she might have. Dawn Papes decision to hire a different contractor was her own, and the costs incurred are her responsibility. EIR however did give the Papes a credit for the work EIR did not perform, roughly half the proposed cost of the removal and reinstallation of the flooring.
It did take six weeks for EIR to compile the necessary information to complete the proposal for an addition project the Papes wished to do. One of those weeks was July 1st-7th. Still, not an ideal amount of time. We explained to Dawn Pape many times how busy all our subcontractors were, and that we would have the proposal ASAP.
Dawn Pape wasn’t at all upset with EIR until she received the proposal for the addition project. The addition project was a second project Dawn Pape wanted us to build. A project that had doubled in sized from its conception to the final drawings. Dawn Pape was upset with the proposed cost of 190K, even though we had given her a “Ballpark figure” of 150K-200K. After Dawn Pape received the proposal she sent many texts and emails criticizing and insulting EIR. When asked about her own professionalism Dawn Pape said “I don’t have to be professional, I’m the client!” She also threatened to give negative reviews on social media. So, this review comes as no surprise. It’s actually the third site in which she has posted a negative review.
Dawn Papes review doesn’t reflect Enhanced Interiors Remodeling in any aspect. The project that was completed for Dawn Pape was done in a timely manner and of high quality. I would encourage anyone who reads this to view the project on Houzz by clicking the link below.
