This company is fraudulent and does not hold a valid business license. DO NOT RISK YOUR TIME OR MONEY! If I could give negative stars I would. Do not trust owner David or anything about hiring this company. I have flagged to Houzz this company should be removed from the site and not recommended due to multiple legal cases pending.

We needed a Murphy bed removed from our new home, and we needed it done before we moved in. Idan met with me over the weekend to give me a quote, and the bed was gone by the next weekend. They matched the floor moulding and paint perfectly. Idan was responsive throughout the job and communication was good.

Highly professional and recommended! I just finished my master bathroom remodeling project with Etna remodeling and I am very happy with the result. Idan helped us with the designing and together we came up with a beautiful new layout. We extended our bathroom to give more room. We chose to go to custom when it came to the vanity, and Idan knew the perfect person to build us one. Everything was done on time. Idan was there everyday to make sure everything was going accordingly which was a relief. I want to give a huge shout out to all the people who were involved in this project! From Ana at the office for personal and swift responses to all of our questions. to David who managed the project almost seamlessly thank you for your great advice and ideas, and to all the workers who treated our home as if it was theirs! I was looking to remodel my condo in San Francisco while I was away and so I interviewed a few different contractors to find one that I feel comfortable to work with remotely and I felt that progressive builders understood my wishes and have the experience with these kinds of situations and so after drafting a contract that was very clear and fair the project was on it's way to a great start! A wonderful design was drawn up for the kitchen and They pulled all the required permits before the work started. When the actual work started I was away and I was informed and kept updated almost daily about the progress via phone/email and even received pictures! They coordinated all the different vendors and fixture deliveries and did a wonderful job installing everything. I will recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you very much!!

David and his crew helped us remodel 2 bathrooms. He has a big crew and the crew members each perform specialized tasks (pluming, tiling, cabinets, countertops, painting, hot mop). They are friendly, easy to work with and we felt comfortable having them around our house as we go about our own lives. We were able to have continuous input throughout the whole process so that every task was done to our personal preference. The materials were all included in the package price and they are of high quality and are stylish. The carpentry was customized. We saved a great deal of time and trouble by not having to shop for the materials separately, knowing that whatever we choose from David’s catalog has been tested many times and proven to work and be of good quality. David answers text messages very quickly. He is easy to work with and has an easygoing attitude. He does what he sets out to do, what he says would be done. The whole team is very dependable. Every worker took their time to make sure the result is as perfect as possible. Nothing was ever rushed. Everybody took a lot of pride in their work and it really showed in the end result. In the end our bathrooms came out so beautifully and so much better than we had hoped!

David's team was amazing. The work they did was perfect. Tomas' work is impeccable. Our new kitchen and flooring look amazing. We can't wait to work with Etna for our next project.

We're so happy that we made the right choice and hired Etna for our home remodeling project!! This was our first time embarking on a remodel and we were worried about the time and cost involved. The project manager was very conscientious of concerns and helped us navigate our remodel with our budget in mind. He was with us every step of the way, which was a godsend as we went through the permit process and several change orders to adjust our plans based on the limitations of the space provided. Etna's team were also fantastic to work with because they kept us informed about the progress of the remodel and checked things with us as they were building to make sure we were 100% happy with how things were turning out. They are so dedicated to customer satisfaction--they were willing to continue returning to our job even after the major work was done to make small changes and ensure that everything was in perfect working order. All in all, we love our new bathroom and kitchen and we appreciate the team making our dream a reality!

i highly recommend Etna remodeling if you're looking for an innovative and creative interior designer. Liyah the went above and beyond to ensure that our bathroom remodel was perfect. she and her team did a fabulous job and I will use this professional, talented company again. Liyah had an eye for detail and offered great suggestions for creating a unique look. While I received quotes that were less than Etna, it was worth every penny and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision to hire them.

I’m especially thankful to Liyah the designer and the project manager of the company, she was always good and pleasant to work with. She spent a lot of time to discuss and to shop the materials with me. As she listened well to my opinions and request, she could get the supplies of the best fit and high quality in spite of my limited budget. She created bathroom that well beautiful and practical. I sincerely appreciate excellent creativity and expertise with her tremendous effort to achieve the best one for me.

I had a great experience with Etna in repairing the wall of my garage, which had been badly damaged when my neighbor accidentally hit it with their car. Etna was responsive and professional and did extremely high quality work. And they were extremely honest and up-front about pricing. An example of this was when the level of complexity was clearly not as bad as estimated, they reduced the price we had agreed on. I really appreciate how easy they were to work with, which is a rare thing in the Bay Area!

Very professional, great communication and fantastic work. Stayed in budget, and let me know all the details of what they were doing. Everything I want from a contractor. Would absolutely hire them again.

David was the clear choice for my restaurant build from the very start. He was thorough in his inspections of the raw space, communicated well, and presented as honest and kind. As we moved through the 3-month project, he proved to be all of that and more. What could have been a stressful time in my life was made easy because John was in control and catching every detail. He knows his plumbing, electric, and general codes; he sees the smallest error or potential for error every time he's on site. He's sharp, kind, and a great communicator. He tried to save me money at every turn, and was never wasteful with expenses. He also surrounded himself, and my job site, with an array of subcontractors who had integrity and never messed around. At this point, I'm practically looking for my next restaurant expansion site just so I can work with him again. I can't recommend him highly enough.
