Working with FD Building was a great experience! Jason did an amazing job meeting with us (multiple times) to set up the details for our full exterior renovation, provided a clear understanding of product options and stayed within our budget. Decision making is hard, and Jason made it fun, while lending his great ideas for how to achieve the look we wanted. Our Project Manager, Jim, was the best! He worked to keep the timeline on track, which was difficult given material delays and other unforeseen circumstances. He fully oversaw all of the work being done, and fielded all of our questions with professionalism, guiding us with his expert knowledge. Jim truly went above and beyond every day, available by text/phone and sending photos, as we were not at the property during most of the job. Because Jim cared about every detail like it was his own house, the quality of work is just outstanding. Thanks FD, we love the house!

We hired FD Building Co. to do the remodeling of our house in Southampton and are pleased with their work quantity and responsiveness. The team was professional and courteous from the beginning. Although the Site Supervisor left the company in the middle of the project, David Ospina quickly stepped in to fill the role and couldn’t have been more pleasant to deal with. When we had to use the house during our son’s Spring Break before the project was completely done, FD went above and beyond to finish the kitchen/baths installations and even hired a cleaner to get the house ready for us. The project did drag on longer than expected but most of it due to materials/fixtures being on back order. Mike Alberti was very responsive to our emails and usually replied during the same day and addressed the issues within the same week. We would highly recommend FD Building, and would use them again if we do more home remodeling.

Overall, the final look is nice. We love the shower and floor tile.. The 2 men doing the installation did a very good job and it was done in a timely fashion. We encountered a few issues with incorrect plumbing and shower fixture that was corrected. Also, the wrong door moulding was installed and had to be replaced. In the end we love the bathroom, with the exception of the generic window trim which we did not like the look of but did not want to have torn down at that point.

Reliable, courteous, passionate,,knowledgeable, professional, neat and respectful. FD did an amazing job after another company destroyed my bathroom. Their designer was so helpful that I saw a different design and went with it. I love the outcome! And yes if any problems arise they on top of it immediately. I would recommend them to everyone.

My wife and I used FD Building Company for our home renovation in East Hampton and could not have been happier with the result. From the start of the process through the finish FD Building Co proved highly responsive and dedicated to the successful completion of the project. We had an extensive renovation including a full gut of the house, the building of an addition, and the renovation of our existing kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Both Dennis and Mike are extremely professional, organized and detail oriented which made the whole project much easier to manage and the result was excellent. Most importantly they are honest, easy to work with and take great pride in their work. We have been through 2 previous gut renovations on different properties and interviewed over 6 potential candidates for this project and now that the project is finished we can say we are thrilled to have had the good fortune of selecting FD Building Co as our partner.

I hired FD building after receiving 3 bids. They weren’t the lowest but were the best in regards to clear communication and trust which is more important to me. There is always some room for improvement but giving the horror stories that are told of Contractors these guys are straight shooters. Helpful if on a budget too.

I am extremely satisfied with the overall experience with FD Building Company. This was my first home renovation project ever and had heard horrible stories from people who had undertaken similar projects in the area. However, Dennis and Mike delivered and excellent quality job, and importantly, delivered on their commitment to complete the job on time and within an agreed upon budget. Communication and transparency throughout the process was excellent, they prepared and constantly updated a calendar showing what tasks were being performed at each different stage. They also have their own full team to handle the different trades already assembled so the coordination and cost control is perfect - hence their ability to deliver the project in time and within the budget ! The others aspect we were very satisfied with s their attention to detail and quality of work. They even proactively recommended some practical but tasteful solutions/ideas that fit within our style vision when we were indecisive with respect to some finishing and design choices. In summary, I would definitely recommend them !

FD Building did a great job on our house renovation. We first met Mike to discuss a few modest improvements, but we ended up hiring FD Building to do a top-to-bottom renovation (new roof; raised the ceiling in our living room; renovated both bathrooms and kitchen; all new doors/millwork throughout the house; new AC zone; lighting and electrical upgrades; repainted the interior and sanded/refinished the wood floors; new outdoor shower enclosure; etc.). The FD crew and subcontractors showed up when expected and kept the workspace clean and organized. Mike and Dennis were professional and responsive (as was Laura) throughout the process, and FD promptly corrected the few items that were done differently than we had requested. Bottom line: we are very happy with our choice of contractor and we love our renovated house.

These guys are the best. They know what they are doing and get the job done. They are a great team! All around, there is a lot of skill here, more than most architects. They are creative and personable. I highly recommend them. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!!

Kommentiert: what is this floor?The floor is a 12" x 24" Malta gray by Provenza Its a porcelain tile made to look like polished concrete, added a nice industrial feel to the kitchen.
